Typical of Victorian hotels that sprang up near railway stations, this hotel has seen far, far better days...with creaking floor and stair boards and patterns on carpets and walls from the deep 70s. My single room had a chair but no wardrobe (just a few hangers on a bracket) and the tiniest television I've ever seen - but which had...

This hotel is a pub outside the station, so with the pub below and being located next to the railway station and main road it is noisy even with secondary double glazing. Very disappointing room which was dirty and dusty, cheap furniture and bed that did not offer a good nights sleep, room was crooked so bed not even level,...

This hotel is alright if you just want a place to sleep. Nothing special about this place to be honest. It was quiet. Just cheap and cheerful really. I'm sure there's more decent hotels in Gloucestershire tho.

The station hotel was nice and clean and very good value. It is very central to Gloucester centre. The only negative was the old building has the hot water pipes running through the rooms making it very warm but very good in the winter. We had to open the window and put the fan on which they provide so I'm...

We stayed here overnight as we were attending a dance at Elevations night club down the road and it was the closest hotel. We received a very warm welcome - lovely, friendly staff throughout the stay and very helpful. The reception is in the pub. The room was small but had everything we needed although it was quite noisy as...

I stayed here for one night whilst working in Gloucester. It had been pre booked by my company. The online photographs do not give an accurate view of the place. The outside is shabby looking and in need of a court of paint. It's basically a pub with rooms. The smell of beer hit me as I opened the door....

We were in Gloucester for a day out and went in the Station Hotel for lunch. The food was superb and the staff were polite and friendly. The fish and chips was outstanding. They also have a nice selection of Real ale. Give it a go
