Good sized room with large bed and clean, functional en-suite. Hotel was a terrace of houses so getting to rooms may involve several corridors and flights of stairs. Bar and lounge area, and outside patio and small secluded garden. Off street parking. Good breakfast, good service in interestingly decorated breakfast room. Reception very helpful on our arrival with maps and... More

I have stayed there on four occasions in the past 5 years and have always found the staff friendly and accommodating. My friend John and I stay here as part of a cycle touring holidays and there's never an issue with accommodating us and our bikes safely in the building. On one occasion, even providing two buckets with suds and... More

Stayed for one night, the room was a good size but could do with a bit of a refresh as could most of the hotel, the owner was not a very cheerful person seemed as if he did not want to be there, saving grace was breakfast, freshly cooked and very good quality.

As we were in the area visiting my Son we decided we would make a weekend of it and stay overnight. So looking for a reasonably priced and conveniently located hotel I came across this one. Finding it proved a tad difficult as my Sat-nav didn't recognise the postcode. But having found the road it wasn't difficult to spot the... More

Great host; Superb location; Clean and comfortable accommodation; Pretty good breakfast; free parking; fairly priced. nothing too much trouble for guests. Nothing much else to say except that I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if I was interested in the area encompassing Gloucester, Hereford, Tewkesbury and Worcester. The history in this area - from ancient churches and cathedrals to iconic... More

Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Car parking was very handy. It's well located for walking in to Gloucester city centre. Although via a slightly run-down part of the city the walk only takes 10 minutes.
