Stayed at this B&B for a few days over New Year. We had the room with the balcony which was quite small but it was really cosy with amazing views it had everything we needed in a hotel room, the bathroom was very clean and had a full bath. The meal on New Year’s Eve was really nice and the... More

A welcoming place to stay. Burning fires and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Only one small point, no shaver plug! But for one night not too big a deal. We ate lunch in the bar, very tasty food. The Timothy Taylor's Landlord was delicious and refreshing. We were in the area for a family party, however... More

Our party of six stayed for two nights over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We had three rooms, nine, ten and eleven. Room nine is a large double with a big bathroom, all the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent from the set New Year's Eve meal to the substantial breakfast. Christine and... More

We visited here a couple of years ago and decided to revisit, we were not disappointed. The Inn had a lovely cosy fire to welcome us on a miserable wet day. We enjoyed a lovely meal. The food was very good and the service was great. I would recommend a visit.

My son and I called in for an evening meal in the restaurant last Wednesday evening. The food was absolutely excellent. I have to say it was the best fish pie I have ever had out. The pie was packed full of fish in a lovely sauce and topped with crispy potato. My son had the steak pie which was... More

This hotel and restaurant is nestled in the heart of beautiful Nidderdale in North Yorkshire. It is a typical stone built building, and looks great. I haven't stayed there, but the food is excellent, and although it is ''hotel prices'' in the restaurant, you won't be dis-satisfied. The staff are very friendly too, and there is a large magnificent inglenook... More

My wife and I and other members of my family went to the Wellington for lunch earlier this week. The location is lovely, and the log fire on a dark, rainy day, was very welcoming. We all opted for the special lunch menu, which offered a good range of dishes at a very reasonable price. The food itself was fine,... More

We booked for two nights in order to do a bit of shopping in Harrogate and also to spend some time on the Saturday with our son who is at AFC Harrogate. We were running late on the Friday due to traffic and rang to see what time they stopped serving food; no problem here as the lady offered to... More
