Fabulous location, the staff were all excellent and so welcoming. The open fire on a cold winter's night was great. The room was well appointed. Food in the restaurant was home cooked and brilliant. Cannot recommend the Wellington inn enough. Thank you for the stay.

We were let down at the last minute for some accommodation for a weekend away with friends. At short notice this pub with accommodation sorted 3 double rooms & looked after us.Thoroughly enjoyed the food/service & the rooms. Great weekend. Fab location, could imagine its fantastic in summer.

Lovely pub, we had goats cheese starter which was very nice but a lot of cheese and spare ribs which were absolutely fabulous. Sunday dinner was nice but the Yorkshire Puds although huge were a bit like cardboard which was the only thing that let it down. The gentleman behind the bar was a little snappy which let it down...

Visited this pub just by coming across it by chance it looked lovely from the outside! When we entered we had to approach a waitress to ask if there was any tables as the first one just kept walking past us, once seated she told us to order our drinks at the bar and we would be added to a...

On a quiet sunny day this is a perfect lunchtime spot after a walk in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Very good varied menu using local ingredients. Lovely view from the restaurant. Excellent service.

Enjoyed the room so much managed to sleep in and miss breakfast, but when we went to check out the staff had saved our table and made us breakfast anyway. Best customer service you...

Just dropped in for a quick drink with two families to check it out. Sorry to say that the reception was far from friendly. Seemed that when they knew we weren't having a meal they didn't really want us in either rooms and were treated more like a bit of a nuisance. Just a simple thing like bringing the kids...

We booked in after we had a full day at Stockeld park with a large group (5 families with children). The staff were attentive, welcoming and organised the group. They took the orders per family so it made it easy when paying. The food was all served together, with minimal wait and all correct. It was tasty - most went...

We have had good full meals here at good value but today we had sandwiches. A roast beef and a BLT baguette. Both were really very good and reasonably priced. The dressing on the salad garnish was superb . This is a real gem in the Dacre/Summerbridge area.
