Hotel Du Vin are a pretty safe bet for a good place to stay and the one is Harrogate is no exception although it is worth noting that if you get the rooms in the basement they are incredibly noisy as they are beneath the recption and bar which has a hard floor so you hear every footstep above you.... I love Harrogate and like to stay here because of the view of the stray. I was upgraded and my room had the most enormous bed, roll top bath and walk in rain shower. Lovely to get ready peacefully before my boyfriend arrived. Great gig to see Van Morrison and loved falling to sleep listening to the rain.

Decided to go to York Ebor Horse racing meeting with a Friday night stay in Harrogate. Booked the Fabulous Friday package which includes Dinner in the restaurant a bottle of Champagne on arrival and a beautiful room to be pampered in. We decided to get up early 5am and complete the 4.5 hour trip before the Friday madness on the... More

Our two night stay was a "get well" gift from my sister following my hip replacement, and as I am not very mobile (I have one hip recovering and another due to be replaced) she emailed the hotel beforehand to ensure that I was allocated a room which would be accessible and suitable to my needs. Upon our arrival we... More

Attended private dinner for about 14 people. Started with drinks in the courtyard. Excellent meal of ham hock terrine followed by rump of lamb with creme brûlée to finish. Food was full of flavour and the service couldn't be faulted. The decor is country chic. Large bar area to socialise in afterwards.

I've been here quite a few times in the past but stayed here recently. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The state of the reception area is shabby. It's in dire need of an upgrade. All of the seats in reception area are extremely worn out and badly stained. I nearly fell through one when I went to... More

Upgraded to a suite for our 2 nights stay which was an August offer coinciding with our wedding anniversary. Dined in the bistro both nights and enjoyed the food. Always enjoy the hotel whichever location we choose.

Booked the Sunday night deal for £25 subject to spending £75 in the bar/bistro. Allocated a second floor room (back of hotel so quiet but no view) which was nice, although bed queen size not King size, which would have been better. Lovely toiletries and tea/coffee. Only criticism, very hot with no air conditioning and a thick quilt. We were... More

I had a really enjoyable time at the Hotel. The food was really nice and the location was excellent in the centre of Harrogate. The bar is really pleasant too and chilled. The room was very spacious and clean. I'd thoroughly recommend it for a weekend break in Harrogate.
