We stayed here on a Saturday night. We arrived mid-morning and were invited to check in even though we knew our room wouldn't be ready yet. The staff were lovely and helpful and we were upgraded to a suite free of charge. Fantastic room. We had a nice lunch out in the patio and an impressive array to choose from... More

My girlfriend and visited hdv for dinner and I have to say it was a wonderful evening. We were recommended to go by some of our friends who said we must try it. I'm happy we did in the end, we certainly were not let down. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were intuitive and... More

One of the original boutique hotel chains and they do it very well. Very friendly reception, easy parking out front in one of their bespoke on street parking bays (£10 charge), cosy ambience throughout the hotel, comfortable room and bed, with a well stocked bathroom and Niagara like shower. Five or so channels on the TV is a little meagre... More

Fabulous staff make this hotel. Rooms are well furnished, bistro bar area has a relaxed air. Good central location just a short stroll from train station. The food was delicious, good variety of local produce. The wine list was a little pricey but extensive.

Just come back from a one night stay at Hotel du vin in Harrogate and it was absolutely amazing!!! We were welcomed on arrival and shown to reception where we were informed we had received a complimentary upgrade for my birthday, a very unexpected surprise. We were asked to come back at check in time 3pm as the room wasn't... More

Lovely located hotel in Harrogate. Staff very friendly and room was great. Had the Sunday night supplement which is very good value for money. Get to stay in a lovely room for a reduced rate as long as you spend £75 in the bistro.

Have visited this hotel many times over the past few years and I have always found the facilities together with the staff to be of the highest order. The location is perfect with stunning views over the Stray and only a couple of minutes walk away from the town centre. The rooms have recently been refurbished to the highest order... More

Stayed here for 3 night as I was in Harrogate for work. Although my workplace booked me the cheaper basement room due to lack of space, my overall stay was fantastic. Direct access to street level was also a nice quirk. Alice on reception was almost too helpful. The bar staff were also all great.

Staff very welcoming on arrival. We stayed in the Moet Vintage loft suite which was huge and very comfortable. Double baths, double sinks, double showers (thankfully no double toilets) 😀. We had dinner in the Bistro which was very good. Excellent staff and service. The lounge, bar area could be a bit cosier, very drafty & chilly. Enjoyable one night.... More

Great place to relax. Go through the hotel to find a quiet secluded courtyard. Good food as the name suggests, French influence. Inside is great layout, open spaces, comfy settees and chairs. Extensive wine and drinks list. Very professional service. Recommended
