Great hotel with very friendly staff. I would recommend it to everybody. Central town center location with easy walk to restaurants and shops. Big modern room and amazing bathroom. Well worth four stars.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough, so accommodating, the food is lovely and equally the staff. Special mention must go to the concierge James and the lads serving at the jake and Leroy, great lads, all brilliant they all made our stay. Thanks to everybody that made our anniversary a one to remember. Dom-pérignon suite.

Great place right in the middle of town. Nice staff. Room was great, bar is nice and breakfast was tasty with good options. One of the waiters was very funny! £10 for parking was a little much when half the spaces were empty but a minor point

We were absolutely delighted with our wedding here at HDV a few weeks ago. In our eyes the day could not have gone any better. Everyone said how fantastic the food was at the wedding breakfast and I certainly agree. The service of all the staff through out the hotel was brilliant! A special thank you to Stephen on the... We have stayed in many Hotel Du Vins around the UK and always found them to be excellent Boutique style hotels , expensive but well done. We booked the HDV in Harrogate for 2 nights full of expectation. The hotel occupies a great location and has a real buzz in the evenings , especially around the bar and Bistro. On... More

We visited the HDV in Harrogate, having heard that there was a new manager in place. Previously this place was treading water, but there is a noticeable improvement, the staff are more welcoming and helpful. The new regime is getting this place back to the standards that we expect from this marque, but was lacking before. the parking at the... More

Arrived here on a very busy Friday evening, difficult to find rear car park but we had been informed by reception that we would be met outside and a space would be available. 20 minutes later we eventually got parked as there had been a misunderstanding by staff, all was well however and we were shown to our room and... I remember the original HdV in Winchester and I've had some great meals at the Tunbridge Wells outlet. I remain a devotee of the concept. The Harrogate version feels a bit more cramped and my room was swelteringly hot (hence the industrial scale fan that did the job but was predictably noisy). Food was up to scratch and the pain... Stayed for 2 nights all paid for as a birthday treat from my daughter. Nicely appointed room, great staff, very extensive breakfast menu. A nice touch was chocolate strawberries in the room on arrival with an invitation for free glasses of wine for both of us to celebrate my birthday. Very relaxing decor throughout to provide just the right ambience.

I visited this hotel for a work trip and was staying one night. I happened to be in the room directly below reception. This meant that from around 5.45 all you could hear was staff walking up and down, people moving around due the to hard wooden floor. When raising this with staff, I was advised its an old building.... More
