The hotel hosted a family birthday occasion for us, about 40 people. From the very first enquiry to the end of the event we were enormously impressed by the level of attention given to us, and nothing was deemed a problem. The hotel has been wonderfully refurbished, the food and drink was excellent, but the standout detail for all of...

We booked this hotel for an 80th birthday party for approximately 40 guests at was conveniently located for most of those attending. The hotels nearly complete make over did not distrupt the celebrations at all as we were royaly looked after by Sara and her attentive team. Our refurbished room had a super wide, super comfortable bed along with a...

We have stayed many times at this hotel and much prefer it to the rather cramped alternatives of proprietor-run Victorian villas which abound in the adjacent streets. Our room (514) seemed to have had a makeover, with very tasteful décor, newly installed (?0 air-conditioning and the usual spotless en suite. At long last there are decent bedside lights so you...

The hotel is In a very good location for all of the town. It's modern and having work done but it doesn't disrupt you . The room was in the 10th floor with great views and a superb comfy bed. On the negative side our room was not made up the first day and had to ask, and in the...

Many thanks for your review. I apologise about the first day oversight and shower. You will be pleased to learn that water in the rooms is a standard which will be implemented throughout once we change over to Crowne Plaza in March 2017. Best regards, Nicolas

Found it close to the centre of Harrogate for walking in. Lovely room, warm and massive bed! The thing that stopped it being a 5 is probably trivial. However to me it makes it good is, there were no biscuits. When you arrive late it's nice to have a biccy with a bedtime cuppa. Also maybe a choice of teas and...

We walked down the hill to the hotel from the station and as we neared the hotel we were passed by a group of people carrying padded wooden tub chairs which we thought was a bit strange. When we reached The hotel we saw it had giant skips outside which were full of wooden furniture, mostly looking quite serviceable, including...

Thank you for your feedback. Charities were contacted for the older furniture before we were than required to dispose of the excess, I can assure you. I am pleased you had a four-star experience despite that the décor may not have been to your liking. I am equally pleased to read the Team made your stay a comfortable one. Best...

We had a lovely spacious room on the 9th floor. Bed was very comfy, room was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Modern en suite facilities with shower. Large breakfast room serving a variety of hot and cold food. An enjoyable experience.

The hotel is still undergoing refurbishment which it probably needs as it looks a little tired. However, the room was very comfortable and quiet, so it was possible to get a good night's sleep. I had dinner in the restaurant and I thought that the food was well cooked and presented and portions were the right size. The buffet breakfast...

Still being refurbished but not a problem. Miserable minimalist foyer is not exactly inviting but rooms are comfortable, clean with good hot water, fridge and tea making facilities. Not that quiet as the insulation between bedrooms not that good. No swimming pool. Breakfast buffet adequate, limited and very busy at weekends. Underground parking at £7 per day as is the...
