After researching the area and reading the excellent reviews, we stayed here for a night in August. It was superb! The farmhouse is large and very stylish. Our room was lovely, with beautiful bedding. Delicious breakfast! We will definitely return.

This last minute booking turned out to be a little gem - delightful setting in a rural hamlet with stunning views - superbly appointed accommodation - well worth a visit simply to enjoy breakfast - cooked to an exceedingly high standard on an Aga - lovely welcome - entertained to tea and freshly made cream cakes. We will most definitely... More

Beautiful family home, warm friendly welcome and gorgeous decor. Bedroom was exquisite; top quality bed linen, furniture and furnishings, underfloor heating in bathroom and quality toiletries. Lovely towels throws, sherry and chocolate... Very comfortable. Breakfast extensive fresh food and lots to choose from. Again quality cutlery and crockery all very top end and fantastic views all around.

This was superb - definitely one of the nicest B & B's I've stayed in. The room was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished with gorgeous bed linen, towels and toiletries - the location was wonderful - very peaceful - I had a fantastic night's sleep. The hostess Lyndsey was delightful and the breakfast was divine. I can't wait to go back!

The title of my review says it all. We were greeted by Lyndsey when we arrived and were immediately offered tea, coffee etc and then she showed us our room. She then brought our beverages to the room with a lovely piece of carrot cake and chocolates. The room was absolutely fantastic, very clean and a lot of attention to... More

This B&B is a very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast is excellent. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The B&B lies in an interesting part of the Yorkshire Dales. The Wellington pub is close by. Church Gate Farm is a very quiet place (except when Lindsey starts the tumble dryer in the early morning).

We made a last minute booking as our new house purchase was not suitable to move into. Had the king size ensuite room which was light and airy, and slept like a log on the comfy bed. Usually my husband has 1 night in a b& b bed and the next night on the floor as his back causes problems.... More

We stayed in the smaller room without the ensuite for 5 nights. The bathroom is right next door so this wasn't a problem at all. Room is cozy with a wardrobe, TV and coffee/tea making facilities - including a vast number of teas, hot chocolate, biscuits and green and blacks chocolate! Bathroom had a large bath with expensive bubble bath,... More
