Excellent in everyway.. can't wait to go back. Cannot fault in anyway. Excellent food, exceptionally clean. Maria & Ros (hope I have got the name correct !) are great.. Thank you so much! Very close to the town (much needed when had plenty to drink...)

Stayed in Harrogate a couple of times before, but this is the best we have stayed in. Ideally located close to many bars & restraunts, easy free parking (you will be issued with a parking permit). Only four rooms so you get personal service in a tastefully decorated establishment. Book it you won't be disappointed.

We booked this as an extra nights stop on our way back home from a break in Leeds. We know Harrogate well so knew the location was suitable for both the town centre and the nightlife in the Montpellier area. Parking nearby was easy and free for 3 hrs...the B and B then provided a parking permit free of charge....

Second visit to Scotia house, rooms are modern and spotless. Best of all is the breakfast, plenty of choice, the cooked breakfast came piping hot. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome..

We were welcomed with coffee/tea and biscuits, even though we were early and the room wasn't quite ready. Had a 3 night stay, the room was spotless and had a beautifully cooked breakfast with a selection of fresh fruit and juices and cereals. Maria was happy to recommend places to visit and places to eat and we had a lovely...

Wonderful 2 night stay for my birthday. Guesthouse is beautiful well decorated and spotless. Breakfast lovely (would like tinned tomatoes) and plentiful with lots of choice. Def going to stay again! And 5 minutes walk to restaurants and bars, which Maria will recommend the best for you. Lovely hosts, even chilled our champagne and supplied glasses twice! Loved it don't...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the owners of this little gem were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great and really well cooked with a selection of fruits, juices and cereals too. The only downside was that our room was too hot and with the Windows open the traffic was quite noisy. Nevertheless a little gem...

Very central location, one step away from exhibition center. Spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff. Perfect for a business trip. They also place teddy bears on the beds - which is very cute! The hotel is located in a residential area which is very quiet at night too.

Marie met me at the door and was warm and friendly throughout my stay - my room (No 2 ) was spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated. Marie also kindly let me check in early so that i could register for the conference I was attending, and also to leave my bag with her after checking out so that i didn't...

Very tastefully decorated guest house with good facilities. Very clean. Hosts very welcoming. Wonderful breakfast. My only criticisms: smell of cigarette smoke wafting occasionally through from? staff quarters - off putting if you're not a smoker. Bed not amazingly comfy but individual ideas of comfort vary and I am quite picky. Would be nice to have fairtrade tea and coffee...
