Comfortable small hotel with free car park. Friendly receptionists but the porters are not willing to help. Garden view ground floor room ( no. 14) is not quiet because I'd squeaky ceiling ( noises from guests from upper room. I have given feedback to the hotel to repair the floors to reduce the noise. Breakfast was good. Good location .

The Hotel dates back to the 16th Century and is said to be the "most haunted" hotel in the country. Though how such a measure is arrived at is intriguing to say the least! The original building is charming, and the Reception area is equally inviting. The staff are friendly and the room, although very small, was fine for an...

The room was about as small as it could be and still fit in two narrow beds and a closet, a small desk an one chair-maybe ok for the International Space Station, but not acceptable for a hotel in the suburbs of London. The bathroom similarly was just big enough to cram a bath/shower, sink and toilet. the beds were...

Had a lovely afternoon tea here everything was good. My only observation was that it was a shame that the flowers were still the Christmas arrangements . Why ? The China could have been a little more elegant .

Perfect little afternoon tea. Professionally provided. Great value and not too big a venue. Would be good for Mother's Day. Nice little touch and treat. Not too grand , not overly posh just perfect. £15 a head , enough food. Not a refill though like many places. However plenty of refill tea and to be honest how much can one...

We visited The Barn for a family occasion, there were a large group of us occupying 8/9 rooms for one night. Myself and my husband were checked in @reception by a very friendly and courteous young member of staff on the night we arrived, pity I could not say the same about the older lady who checked us out, I...

We went here for Sunday lunch and found the surroundings, food, service and ambience all first class. Exceeded expectations. I would certainly recommend this and revisit to experience their afternoon tea and a la carte menus.

We stayed here whilst on a business trip to Ruislip. Good location by underground and local to some great restaurants. The bar and restaurant at the Barn were also first class. Rooms clean and warm and staff very friendly and efficient.
