My boyfriend is from Newfoundland and we came back to visit the family for two weeks. We stayed in this bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Iceland room and it was very quaint and very cute. The view is incredible. I posted a few pictures of the property. The people who own the law to live in a house...

Gina met us and had been coming over several times to be there when we arrived, otherwise there was a note on the door to guide us. She was very helpful and friendly and she had just lost her father. Clara came in to cook breakfast and she did a great job and was charming. The rooms were very comfortable....

Good location and beautiful views from upstairs deck. Not a lot of places to stay in this area, so we were glad to have found this place. The website was a little misleading in how we felt the place would look. Rooms were sufficient but in general a little run down and in need of a renovation. Breakfast was delicious...

We have lots of plans to renovate the place in the coming months. We just finished roofing the building just yesterday. Looking forward to serving you better in 2017.

Stayed one night while visiting L'Anse aux Meadows. You do have to check in yourself but Gina emails clear directions and we had no trouble finding it or our rooms. It's true that the front door is unlocked so if you are nervous about friendly strangers that might bother you. The bedrooms all lock; I felt safe. You do have...

We stayed here 2 nights and the best part was the vies from the common deck off the living room. There was no resident host but a lady did come in to cook breakfast for us. The house is very dated and parts of it are in desperate need of repair. the shower is very small but the water is...

Our carpenters the fall and winter putting in new windows, roof, new bathrooms. Completely renovated the Snorri room to make an efficiency unit. We included an extra bedroom next door that my mother used. Should be able to serve you better and be alined up to the standard of that of the Norseman Restaurant quality now.

For our 3 day stay it was quite adequate for our needs with a comfortable clean room with a private bath.A nice sitting area in the evening made for great conversation with other guests. Breakfasts were varied, simple and delicious.During our stay the hostess was not onsite yet and door was left unlocked to allow guests to come and go....

We were two couples visiting L'Anse Au Meadows and it was my job to find a place in advance of our trip. I found Wavey's on the Valhalla site (at the bottom of the page) and immediately thought it would be a great way to stay in a classic salt box house. Although I could not find a lot of...

Here are some comments I hope will help tourists make the right decision and find somewhere else to spend their hard earned money. 1. No one at the place, your name is stuck to the door indicating which room is yours, front door open at all times with copies of the room keys easily found in the kitchen, not a...

We stayed in Wavey house next to the see and loved it. In all my travels, I have rarely been in a nicer holiday home. It is an old house, lovingly renovated and with a nice atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are nice and there is good Wifi. But the best thing is sitting on the couch...
