Stayed here with my bf after someone bought us a over night stay voucher. Hotel is nice although rooms are a bit dated. Our room was next to the lift too which was noisy, but then also the couple next door to us spent the night arguing and slamming the doors for the majority of the night. We did have... More

We stayed here for 2 nights from 10th - 12th July. The hotel is ideally situated in Wicklow town centre. Rooms very comfortable with a good breakfast served each morning. Staff in Hotel very friendly especially woman on reception, they could not have done enough for us. Food served in the bar restaurant is excellent with very generous portions. I... More

I stayed here for a wedding and have to say that the staff are the friendliest I've come across in a very long time - they were absolutely lovely. This was an old fashioned hotel which actually has proper keys to lock your room door (not cards but actual metal keys!). Our room was a family room and it was... More

Over the past few weeks we have visited the grand hotel alot, the food has always being lovely, but the service is a bit hit and miss, most of our visits it's usually quiet in the bar, but even at that we usually end up gettin our own menus. When we order soup as a starter it never comes. We... More

Stayed here recently overnight with a group. Rooms small but well kept. Somewhat noisy with a lot of street noise from various revellers. Food in bar good and reasonably priced. Cooked to order breakfast which was quite good -why cant more hotels do this rather than be faced with over-cooked mush which many hotels dish up nowadays? Very helpful and... More

We stayed here for a few days and had a great time with the surrounding golf courses. Hotel rooms are clean and pleasant. Hotel is not modern but typical for the area. Rooms were somewhat warm even with open windows. In the weekend a little noisy.

We held an event in Wicklow last weekend and most of us stayed in the Grand. They looked after us so well and were very kind and attentive to us. Was extremely happy with our stay. We had a lovely meal there as well and the staff were so friends and fun and joined in with us.

Very Quaint and old fashioned style hotel, staff very friendly, room needs a bit of a spruce up as the carpet and furnishings look tired. Comfortable beds and bar prices very reasonable compared to Dublin. Breakfast was excellent and served very quickly and girls were very chatty and friendly, Overall a very enjoyable stay but could do with a freshen... More

On a whim while working in Dublin I spent a weekend based in Wicklow. The grand wasn't posh but the room was huge. The thing that set it apart from other hotels in Ireland was the restaurant! Starting with a lovely made to order breakfast with great quality food items and included a very helpful pleasant staff. The bacon was... More

We stayed here after moving from another establishment in the town. We found all the staff we dealt with really nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is a little dated but has a lovely charm about it. I would stay here again if visiting Wicklow.
