The number of 'excellent' reviews here say it all. I usually check Tripadvisor before booking and again it paid off. From the point of arrival we were made to feel welcome by Marilyn and Seamus. The house is purpose built (which many B&B's are not) and very interesting in layout and decor. Our family room was lovely with a good... More

Marilyn and Seamus are excellent hosts! We were immediately welcomed and given a map of the area and explanation of things to do. She also offered to make reservations for dinner. Our room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking theWicklow Mountains. Very clean with an extremely comfortable bed. They provided us with walks from the lodge and around their Christmas... More

Greeted with ice water in a pitcher and a warm greeting. Our hostess immediately made reservations for us at a lovely local restaurant shuck allowed for time to shower and change. She transported us to the restaurant and made arrangements for our return. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Great breakfast in the am with the best porridge I... More

Highly , heartily recommend . I travelled alone from US , and felt completely safe staying here. They didn't charge me extra for single booking , the room was very large , spotless , incredible view of the mountains , the shower was fabulous and the daily breakfast ( we're talking Full Irish here ) was delicious and more than... Had a great stay at the Wicklow Way Lodge. Very comfortable and the views are stunning. Marilyn was a wonderful hostess, knowledgable about the area and what it has to offer. Don't forget to have the porridge for breakfast, it is truly amazing, worth the trip😀

Thank you Marilyn and Seamus for a brilliant stay. Your home and attention to detail are appreciated. Your porridge ought to be featured on every food show - compulsory ! It was amazing - so glad I said yes. Room had balcony for all three of us to sit comfortably. Short drives to powerscourt and glendalough without getting lost. Thank... More

We had a wonderful two nights at Marilyn and Seamus's beautiful lodge in the Wicklow mountains south of Dublin. The view off our deck was to die for, and so was the breakfast. Nearby Glendalough is a magical place of early Christian ruins situated in Wicklow National Park, and Powerscourt estate is worth visiting as well. Byrne and Wood in... More

We stayed at The Wicklow Way B&B while hiking the Wicklow Way. We arrived tired, but received a friendly greeting and an accommodating host. The property is beautiful and family friendly.rooms are clean and well appointed and the bathrooms are modern and clean. We loved the shelves of books and games too. A beautiful place in the perfect part of... More

Definitely a place to go, not only in between the Wicklow Way parts, but worth staying and exploring nearby walking loops, and having a serene and quiet break in the countryside. You'll hear (and share) stories here, rest your weary feet on the heated floorings, eat well and feast the eyes on the landscape. Can't wait to come back -... More

What a welcoming place to stay on the Wicklow Way! My daughter and I arrived wet and bedraggled after hiking 12 rainy kilometers. We were shown to a beautiful, spacious room, a warm room to dry out our gear, and a lovely hot shower. Seamus provides transportation to town where there was a wonderful restaurant and then we enjoyed a... More
