Smashing place to stay. The house management team were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Spectacular setting and definitely the wow factor. If you've got kids staying of any age it might be worth securing the windows in their room as they're easy to open and it's quite a drop. There's a hardware store in town and a simple few cable ties... More

We loved Wicklow and the walk to this lighthouse was spectacular! Great views of different colored green field with sheep on one side and the beautiful ocean on the other along with other ruins along the way. We followed the path and came to the lighthouse and sign said no trespassing. The locals walking said everyone ignores the signs keep... More

What a holiday!!! This is such a unique and beautiful spot just outside Wicklow town. plenty of beautiful walks and scenic views. the accommodation itself consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room, 2 bathrooms,109 steps and stunning views from the top. I would highly recommend this spot, best place I have stayed all year. The light housekeepers were incredibly personably... More

This is an absolute amazing site with extraordinary view of the East Irish coast. A fully restored lighthouse of more than 200 years gives you ambiance and charme, but is not a modern hotel or cottage. But even for mid-seasons cooler nights the Lighthouse is well equipped. Recommended for those who appreciate a historic ambiance and a remarquable site without... More

We stayed at the Wicklow Lighthouse with friends at the end of June and what a wonderful stay it was from start to end. We were greeted by Miriam & Brendon who were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a tour of the lighthouse along with the history of it and the area and some wonderful tips on places... More

Beautiful setting and a mix of weather from very windy conditions with lots of bangs creaks and whistling wind, with dense mist to glorious sunshine to make our stay here a most enjoyable and authentic one... Many thanks to Miriam and Brendan for the warm welcome and informative introduction to the property wbich was very friendly indeed. We had a... More

A surprise weekend booked as a birthday treat I was somewhat dubious of a lighthouse weekend...no hotel luxuries...i went with an open mind. I cant begin to put into words what a special weekend we had. It was incredibly relaxing, beautifully decorated, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped. A little worn in places but this just adds to the charm! Our little ones... More

Don't expect a very comfy stay. But you can expext an unusual and stunning one! There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom, entrance hall, a living room and lot of steps. It's a lighthouse and not a hotel, so it could be sometimes a litte bit cold and drafty. But there are some heaters in the rooms, and... More
