Lovely clean hostel with wonderful views and great base for exploring local area. As a family of 5 with children aged 9, 7 and 5 we managed to book an ensuite room with 3 bunkbeds, one with double bottom bunk. Shower hot amd powerful. The children were so excited and cant wait to go back. Best hotel ever was the...

Had a great night here after my penultimate day, walking the W/Way N/E direction to Dublin. A great location and stayed in the fabulous double room with the view of the Sugarloaf! Fully recommended. Take care to plan your dinner arrangements though, local pubs are a taxi ride away and I just made it in time!

Stayed on our hike on the Wicklow Way. Nice Hostel, clean room, self catering kitchen. Bring food as they have a limited options of items you can purchase there to cook. Purchased the breakfast they make there before headed off the next morning on our hike.

Two of us headed down for a mid week overnight trip. We got the bus from Dublin and walked to the hostel from Enniskerry village. The facilities are simple, clean and comfortable. We brought our own food and cooked it there. The views are phenomenal, waking up to this in the morning was wonderful. The area has some great walks,...

Rooms spacious, really clean and well kept. Communal areas tidy and generous. The view of the sugarloaf mountain in the distance is quite a sight to wake up to. We were with a party of 30 plus but the hostel comfortably handled our group.

Great hostel right along the Wicklow Way. Contemporary interior, clean and well kept. Very good facilities and self catering kitchen. We had a private room which was comfortable and cosy. Lovely view of Great Sugarloaf Mountain from the dining area. Highly recommended.

I was backpacking around with a friend and we decided at 5:00pm we didn't have a place to stay. Looked this up online and just kind of picked it - it looked like it was located in the forest. It very much is. Getting there is intense. You go up and down some hills on narrow roads that become essentially...

Beautiful valley location - no pub, no nothing nearby. And what a view! In the Wicklow Mountains - near Dublin, Glendalough not far, hiking location - Wicklow Way, part of the Historic East of Ireland. We had the use of a conference room (bring your own projector) there is a screen and a stand for flip charts. The staff of...

The location is amazing, it's quiet, peaceful and offers amazing views all around. The walk to the hostel is a bit longer than stated on the Web page but that's fine. The hostel itself is nicely built but definitely needs some money invested in it again. Bathrooms are old and quite cold. Bring your own food otherwise you over pay...

A gorgeous location in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains, Knockree YH offers great value, spacious accommodation and gorgeous views. We booked a private ensuite room which even had a double bed, and very much enjoyed watching the sun set from the dining room which is walked in glass giving you an amazing view (and safety from the weather!) would...
