Nothing appealing about this Hotel. Minute I pulled up outside I knew I'd boobed.. Staff are not interested,,absolutely devoid of personality. Trailed myself up narrow stairs to the very top or the house and was met by the smallest Attic room I've ever seen . Had to trundle back down to get the remote for the TV .(as if they... More

I came here on a business trip and I was not impressed. The rooms were dirty. The toilet was faulty and noisy, with a cracked seat. Visible dirt on the two drinking glasses in the bathroom. Stains on the walls and carpets. Spiders and cobwebs on the windowsill. For "hygiene reasons" you aren't allowed to eat in the rooms? Or... More

Hi all, Just to say that this B&B is a superb place to stay, be it short or long stay. The staff of Paul, Ray, Jason, Catherine to name a few are so friendly and accommodating that I would have no hesitating in staying in this great place. The bar down stairs has some of the funniest and friendly people... More

Room was basic but clean (bedding could have been changed more often). Location is very central (5 min walk to main areas and 25 or so to waterfront). Free parking was very helpful and I enjoyed having a pub on the premises for the end-of-day Guinness! They do provide a breakfast however I cannot comment as I'm not a breakfast... More

We were tired and thirsty...the Barley Field pulled a good pint and 3 musicians turned up to play traditional music. We slept like babies, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - she made a special vegetarian effort for us. And explained a great place to get our puncture fixed.

Hi myself and my girlfriend stayed in this BnB. We thought when booking this, it was a hotel(probably my own stupidity). Place was OK, it started off bad, we had little channels on the TV and it seemed cold. We said it to the receptionist and he gave us a different room and still the same thing. We accepted that... I went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary weekend away, we had a room on the top floor which sucked because of the stairs (But hey who does like stairs really haha) The room was nice, the bed was comfy, power shower was awesome. Tea and coffee in the room which was nice. It was quiet in our room... More
