I stayed here for two nights with my son while visiting my family. The staff were very friendly especially in reception. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Very good value for money and good location for getting onto the road to head to Dublin

The hotel has very good bedt and duvets. Quite good free Internet. The parking facilities are good and free of charge. Modern bathroom with bath tub and shower. Spacious room but quite poor ventilation and noise from the hallway. Otherwise quiet souroundings if your room is not facing the road. The bar was quite good with friendly barkeepers. Please note... Stayed here with a mate for one night. Reception was clean. We had arrived when a communtion was in the function room but the kids were running around the reception area screaming and shouting, that's one thing you wouldn't want to see when arriving to a hotel. Room was basic but very clean. We didn't eat in the restaurant as... More

Nice room, but very noisy we were above the kitchen and the extractor fans came on at 5.ooam . Clean hotel food was good but had to wait along time to be served, we had to go to bar to order our second course and waited along time to get it. won't be in a hurry back.

Stayed in this holiday whilst on a self-drive road tour throughout the UK and Ireland, The hotel was ok, but nothing to write home about. The rooms were not air-conditioned so might become a bit stuffy on a hot day. Probably a tad bit expensive for this type of hotel. Noisy during the day from mechanical plant from the property... My wife and I recently visited the Viking on a weekend break. The Hotel was easy to find and located outside the City giving easy access to national roads and local villages. The receptionist (Ann Marie I think) welcomed us with a smile and quickly and efficiently explained what was available in the Hotel and local area. We had arrived... More

Arrived here last Wednesday for two nights. We had requested an early check-in and we're not disappointed as we were given our room at 1pm which was a great start to our stay. Check in was quick and efficient by a lovely well mannered male member of staff. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. It had a brand new... More

we booked a last minute stay in Waterford and this hotel was available. The hotel is outside of the city and you require a car to access the city centre. The room was pretty big but a little dated, the bar was ok and food was served there instead of the restaurant, the staff were very helpful. Overall a decent... More
