Nice location next to the beach. Only one small area for tents with no shelter. Didn't find this site welcoming at all. Good security, lots of toilets and showers, campers kitchen and laundry. WiFi only works in reception where there is a TV and games room. Wouldn't go back as I don't feel that campers are welcomed. Others may love... More

Beautiful location and very clean site and toilets/showers. One of my fave places to stay in out touring van. The place is always immaculate and within walking distance to the beach, the lovely scenic harbour walk and the Yeats hotel and Austies bar should u wish to dine out and have drinks. My only fault with the place which in... More

This is an excellent well run family site. Facilities are kept clean, security and the management are always present, child can play happily without concern. Atlantic Views are fabulous. The village is only a 5min walk away, they include bars/restaurants/small cafe/Chinese/hotel/shop all very friendly and accommodating. Austies restaurant is a must and always busy so booking is advisable. There are... More

Come early as you can't book and they may be full in summer. Positive features are the fantastic views, closeness of the beach and nice walks, and the 8 (!) restaurants within walking distance. The toilets and showers are clean and work well. Negative features are the inability to book; shower tokens are 1 euro; pitches are un-numbered and dotted... More

Arrived very late after looking around for a place to park up legally with no luck. It was 20 euro for a pitch for our campervan WITHOUT electrics, which would have cost I believe 6.50 euro which seemed steep given the short period of time we were likely to be there. The showers were an extra 1 euro for 5... More

Rosses Point is based on the West Coast of Ireland - next stop USA! It is a short walk to the beach which has lfe guards on duty when we visited during the summer. If you're a surfer then Strandhill is the better site for you. The caravan pitches in Rosses Point have electric hook up but no water or... More

We pitched our tent here on the first weekend in August. The weather was horrendous but we had a great time. The views over Sligo Bay are fantastic but we also had a gale force wind from the Atlantic bearing down on us. The ground is dry and firm, good for setting up camp. The toilets and showers are spotless.... More

Reading reviews here could lead you to think that the site isn't that good..... but... I write this as a motorhome user and we found the site superb. Very clean, brilliant motorhome service point, good level pitches, rubbish disposal is brilliant and the staff are polite, knowledgable and courteous. Views to die for and we rate this as one if...
