We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are a pleasure to deal with- friendly and down to earth. Lots of help with directions, handy as we didn't know Westport or our way to Croagh Patrick! Scones and coffee on arrival, exceptional service and breakfast couldn't have been better- good choice and very tasty. We were offered a lift home if...

Definitely recommended, the hosts did everything to make our stay more than pleasant. Location was not a problem for us, you can walk right to the centre of town in about 10 minutes. The rooms (ensuite) are all very nice and clean and breakfast is excellent. The hosts are lovely people and they also gave us plenty of advice on...

Máire and Declan are very helpful and kind hosts, they serve an excellent and tasty breakfast, they offered us a free lift into town (which is only a 7 min walk anyway), and they also babysat our little girl when we went out on the town for the night. What can I say, top notch. Thanks Máire and Declan.

On a recent weekend visit to Westport, we discovered his bed& breakfast house & will recommend it to friends as its clean, comfortable, good value, convenient to the railway station & the town. You would not need any transport if you travelled by train, walked 3 minutes to the house & less than 10 minutes walk into the centre of...

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B and would recommend it highly. Our hosts represent the best in Irish hospitality, demonstrated ably upon arrival when we were offered - and accepted - tea and homemade scones! Good food, a convenient location and correctly priced accommodation; what more could one ask for?

Westwood House was our first stop at a B&B in Ireland. When we arrived, we met Máire, who welcomed us with tea and scones. After settling in, she offered to give us a lift in to town. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Máire and Declan went above and beyond to make our stay great.

Possibly the friendliest and most hospitable B and B's I've ever stayed in in Ireland - Declan and Maire really went out of their way to make my stay comfortable - including transport, beyond the call of duty. Wonderful to find copies of the weekend papers for perusal over breakfast. Oh. And one of the most comfortable mattresses ever. Just...

My father and I stayed here for 3 nights and cannot find fault. Welcomed into the home with fresh coffee to find a comfortable, clean room. Breakfast was fantastic and the owners offered us great advice as to local activities. Situated in a place far enough out of town to be quiet, but not too far to walk into the...
