This is a bright and airy modern hotel with free car parking and its own restaurant. It's pretty well located on the outskirts of Castlebar. The room rate is quite competitive and breakfast is a standard buffet. I've stayed here several times over the past year and found it to be clean, comfortable and good value for money. I found... Rooms are comfortable. It is very well located --- a lake and walking paths are directly across the highway from the front door. If you wish to catch a bus for a daily excursion, the bus stop is a half-block away. Walking to downtown Castlebar (be sure to stop at the Irish House pub) is quick. The restaurant is a... More

This hotel is central to the town's main amenities and theatre, ( although we had heard that the theatre had closed?) Residents can park in the multi storey car park which is an integral part of the hotel. Access to the Hotel Reception is via the 1st floor. Just make sure you get the reception staff to validate your ticket... More

I stayed here for one night as had business meetings in the area. I arrived at the car park which the hotel shares, and there was a sign that said “Hotel guests please contact reception”. I did this by calling them off my mobile, and was asked to wait for someone to come out. This was fine. About 4 minutes... More

This is a modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable but the colour scheme verges on the kitsch with lots of pastels and mauvish tints. The breakfast was good and I found a nice place to walk along the nearby river which you can find after you have crossed the by-pass.

We really enjoyed our three night stay in this hotel. The food was very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The hotel was easy to get to and was close to the town centre.

Acommodating staff, a very friendly welcome. Family sized rooms are genuinely large so great if travelling as we were with two young children under four. Cot provided free, room well equipped and free parking. Good location, a basic playground a few minutes up the road. We would suggest you get to breakfast early as a large number of coach tours...
