We stayed 2 nights at Devard B & B. It was a pleasurable time to say the least! Nora & Peter are grand hosts! Nora prepared delicious Irish breakfasts & offered undivided attention to our travel itinerary. She even made a phone call in an attempt to find our relative! Our room (quiet for sleeping) with ensuite bathroom was beautifully... More

Our visit to this B&B was booked by a tour company and it was satisfactory. The room was clean, breakfast fine, there is a lovely garden, and overall an ok experience. The B&B is on the way into Castlebar and can be hard to see from the road, so slow down, or you may miss it.

Peter was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. He had local maps to quickly direct us to the heart of town to grab dinner. This was appreciated. The 3 person room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was well organized to fit as much as possible but the room was a bit tight with 3... More

After a 'Cold, Comfort Farm B & B experience the night before we stumbled across Devard B & B and thought we'd landed in paradise! It's welcoming, warm, comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished and provides every comfort you may need. Beautifully cooked breakfast. I cannot praise Devard B & B highly enough.

We were lucky to found this B&B spontanously which is run by an academic family. Very nice and comfortable place - worth the price. The room was not too big but furnished pleasantly. Nora and Peter were very friendly and outgoing. The only bad points were that we weren't warned of the doorstop. I hit my foot there and my... More

One night stopover with my father and both of us very satisfied. Good location, only a few minutes drive from town centre. Well proportioned room, spotlessly clean & decorated to a very high standard. This is the fourth time we've stayed with Nora at Devard. We started way back in the mid eighties. Very clean rooms. Modern bathrooms. Small garden and lawn in the back where we kicked the soccer ball around with our grandson. A very proper Irish breakfast; more than you can eat! You're right on the Westport road, easy into Castlebar.... More
