The Westcourt Hotel is situated in an Irish Town, called Drogheda. The Hotel is excellent, with friendly staff. It is situated alongside the Main Street of Drogheda. I would definitely recommend it to Irish and overseas visitors.

The hotel itself is alright: clean, the pub is great, staff is friendly and the decoration is cool. Unfortuntaley, the car park is not safe. Our car (plus 5 others) was broken into, so we were woken in the middle of night and spoke to the Guarda (police). Had to wait in the morning for the crime scene to be done with... at check out I would have expected a little something from the hotel. But no:no breakfast, no discount.... didn't even comp the 2 drinks we had the night before in the bar... quite disappointing

Stayed there f25th to 28th May 2019. I reported the room was cold on the 25th 26th and 27th May and was assured each time I reported the heating something would be done. Unfortunately for me the receptionist didn’t say when. The heating was finally fixed Monday afternoon of the 26th. The room and bathroom was freezing until Monday when maintenance returned after the weekend. The room was tiny for a double room, the room lacked a hairdryer. Saturday night the noise from the bar went on until about 1.30am

Stayed here for an early meeting next morning. Parking is in a parking lot down a street next to the hotel this is normal for many city/town centre hotels, there was plenty of room. The receptionist was very helpful and polite and sorted me out very quickly. There are no lifts in this hotel (it is 200 year old). Room & bathroom were perfect and spotless. I went for a meal in the bar, the staff were friendly and very professional. I ordered the Vietnamese Fish Hot Pot (love Vietnamese food) ounfortunately what I got was a bland generic Thai green curry type of dish with very overcooked fish and very greasy prawn crackers, I was not happy to be honest. It was completely fine to eat and all that just dissapointing, the guest beside me said his steak was perfect and tasty (hotpot was having a bad day). Back to the room used the excellent free wifi to watch netflix on my laptop. The room was very quiet so I slept very soundly until 6am. This was when the guest staying in the room above me got up and moved around not impressed when the guest went to the bathroom and relieved themselves and I could hear everything, the guest then turned on the shower and again it was very loud so I lost about two hours sleep. The breakfast was perfect, a good selection and very profesional staff, I had two poached eggs and bacon al done to perfection . All in all a lovely hotel with very professional staff. No complementary water in the rooms.
