We had the luck to stay in this B&B for only one night. We arrived at about 5 p.m. and were asked to come back in an hour because the room wasn't ready. After a trip to Limerick we came back and the son of the house showed us our room, asked what we wanted for breakfast and if it... More

The room was very small (the smallest of the 5 b & bs we stayed in during our trip) but it was nicely furnished and very clean. The breakfast was also very good, and our hostess was so friendly. My only complaint was that it wasn't as close to any sort of "fun" as I thought it would be. We... More

Even though the location is near a busy street, the quality windows kept out the noise. Rooms are a bit cramped, but who cares, we just slept there. A couple of pubs and restaurants are within walking distance. St. John's castle is five minutes away (car).

Location was very good to go see the city. The hostess was yelling on the phone most of the time there. Didn't do any sort of introduction to the city or make any recommendations for activities. Rooms are very small and cramped. No hairdryer in each room or tea setting. Not many outlets for electronics. Bathroom is incredibly small. Would... More

This is a "destination" B & B!!!! We found Helen's B&B by luck on our first night in Ireland on May 21, 2014, but we now would go out of our way to return to it. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated (Helen should be a professional decorator!), fabulous breakfast, and warm hospitality. One block off the main road, so very quiet.... More

This was just an overnight stay, couple and small baby. Reservation was easy and friendly. Jeannine met us on arrival in afternoon, and was very helpful and easygoing. The room was clean and comfortable, but not much space to move around in. Bathroom was a bit on the small side, but perfectly fine for our overnight. Cost was 35pp for... More

The host of the B&B was very nice and i enjoyed chatting with her. The room, Kitchen and Common room designed by herself were very cool. The design of the kitchen reminded me Vincent Van Gogh The Irish breakfast were perfect and you can help yourself to cereals, fruits, Juice, bread... It was easy to get to the city center... More
