Stayed here in May 2022 for one night and definitely one of the nicer hotels i have been to, its a little old and you would see that in the interior of the hotel but the rooms are modernised. Check in was very fast and smooth, staff were really nice and helpful, room was very clean, toilet was small but then again its perfect for what you need it for. Food was amazing, we had dinner and breakfast there and it was yummyyyyy. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if ever back to Limerick.
We had the best breakfast in the greenhills restaurant. But also the service is second to none. Cheered me up for the day. Thanks to the happy smiling staff. We will definitely be back. Martina Hoctor
I’m not one for leaving reviews but on this occasion I felt they deserved it. This is our second time staying here and we have not had a bad experience yet. We are on a little holiday break with our two kids for the Easter weekend and even though they are fully booked up they could still cater for all our needs. We needed some extra towels and fresh water during the night and they dropped them up to our room without any hesitation. The food was lovely and not at extortionate prices. The bar staff were so friendly especially the older gentleman who my 5 year old daughter remembered from the year previous. This year he even outdone himself by going above and beyond and out of his way to go get her colours and a colouring book from the shop up the road on his break, as they had ran out of them in the hotel due to being so busy. That is quality service at its finest. An absolute gentleman. Because of all of the above I know we will for be back again next year for sure. It’s our home away from home. 5*…
Decent portion size of really good food makes sure it hits the spot. I'm not the biggest carvery eater but I could get used of this one. It seems quite popular too which is no surprise given that it ticks all the boxes. Staff are very nice too. There is ample parking
Last night we stayed in the Greenhills Hotel in Limerick. My husband booked 3 rooms for us, our daughter and friends who had come for a surprise 60th for me. We checked in around 6pm, and put our bags in our rooms, before going for dinner and drinks with friends in the restaurant. About 11.30pm my daughter wanted to go to bed and I went to her room with her to see it. Her key wouldnt work in the door so we went back to reception where she got a new key from the staff. She then went back to the room, opened the door and was shocked to discover someone else's luggage in the room and hers gone. She went back to reception to be told that she was actually in another room and the manager had removed her bag (without her knowledge or permission). Her bag was in their office. She insisted that a staff member try the other room to make sure nobody was there. Surprise, surprise - someone's luggage was already in the room. However, the hotel did not remove their belongings - instead told my daughter that they had no rooms last night. Luckily we live about 25 minutes from the hotel. We called a good friend from our village (its around 12.30am now) and she got out of her bed and drove in for our daughter and brought her home. If we had come from far away as many of our friends had, or been visiting from another country, she would have had to sleep in reception. WARNING!! Think hard before booking a room here!! The reason I gave them a poor rating was because I have to say the food in their restaurant was superb.…
Stayed over the weekend as we were attending Bingo Loco. A mix up of rooms when checking in which was promptly sorted. Had dinner in the restaurant and the service was lovely, can't recall the girl's name (blonde hair) but she was very good. The night went ahead without a hitch and a ball was had. They could have done with more bar staff however, for an event with a few hundred people there were 2staff at the smaller bar and 4-5 at the larger, as a result the service although good, was slow. The room we stayed in that night (twin- 1double, 1single) was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was made to order (full Irish/pancakes etc) with the option of continental buffet also and was delicious. When checking out, Aoife was a star and the gentleman with her (sorry can't think of his name either but he was also on the night before, a great character) but they were both amazing and gave me a bottle of water for my journey home. Appreciate it all, thanks guys x…
Stayed for work trip to Limerick city. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - especially in steakhouse and leisure centre . Rooms a good standard and clean, lots of options on the tv too. Shower was lovely too
Hi. Just had to take time out to write this review. I'm not long back from our stay last night. We had a great stay. The hotel was lovely as was the food. The nicest breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. I booked my room online and within minutes the hotel phoned me to say the only available room left the sink in the bathroom was blocked. I told the girl on the phone we were on route and would take a look when we arrived. When we arrive on Saturday afternoon it was very wet and windy. We looked at the room and decided we couldn't stay as sink was totally blocked and water sas n the sink. So we went back down to reception where we met a lovely man. Hasam I think was his name. He said he was reception manager. He phoned a few hotels to see if we could go somewhere else. But there was no availability anywhere. So I asked if my partner could try unblock the sink. He agreed and about 20 minutes later he returned to say he had unblock the sink. Unfortunately there's no mantaince there at weekend. Anyway the lovely Hasam gave us a discount on the room and with myself annoying him so much he also agreed to give us complimentary breakfast. Which was lovely. We left there very happy people. 😊…

We stayed at the Greenhills between Christmas and New Year on a bed, breakfast and 3 course evening meal package. The rooms were fab, very clean and well equipped. Nice touch to provide bottles of water. Had a great night sleep, really comfy and HUGE bed. We had drinks in the bar before dinner, they followed all the Covid guidelines really well. The food was divine. There was 7 in our party and all satisfied customers. The bar/wait staff were great, they were run off their feet as it was table service only due to Covid, but they did it with good grace and a smile. Breakfast was excellent. I'll always give extra points if a breakfast is ordered at the table, freshly cooked and served to you at the table. Not a fan of buffet breakfasts. Great selection and set us all up for the day. Staff were friendly, great parking and over all a fab stay. Would not hesitate to go back.…
