Had the pleasure of staying at Rosquil house recently. We were traveling with young children and stayed in the self catering apartments. They were amazing, had a very plush feel to them. There was a sofa bed which provided us with more space to sleep. The apartments were warm, the bathroom was beautiful and the shower was excellent. It was...

Philip and Rhoda were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our room was huge with a wonderful bath. It was very quite and comfortable. We had a wonderful view from the front of the building. The Irish breakfast was GREAT! This was our first night in Ireland and one of the Best B&B that we stayed during our 10 day trip.

After 12 days in Ireland and a 7 stops in that time I have a little perspective, and wanted to post my reviews. Rosquil House was our first stop and we were thrilled that we were going to stay there after all that we had read. Plus: Location, not in the noisy/busy section of Kilkenny, but a 10 minute walk,...

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rosquil House. While on our vacation, we stayed at 6 different B&Bs and hotels in Ireland. Out of all of them our room at Rosquil was by far the biggest and most spacious. Nice furnishings, clean room, large comfy bed, big bathroom, and a delicious breakfast. What more can one ask for? Our...

We booked the day of and Rhoda had an opening. We were so happy that she did. The B&B was close enough to town to walk - about 10 minutes. It was very clean and updated. She said due to the economy that they had to lower their rates. It was about what we had been paying elsewhere but it...

My daughter and I arrived at Rosquil House after coming into Dublin airport, renting a car, going to Glendalough and then getting lost for almost 3 hours in the Wicklow mountains trying to get to Kilkenny. It was all an adventure, of course, and the welcome from Phil and Rhonda was wonderful. They made sure we knew how to walk...

My husband and I travelled around Ireland to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Without exaggeration, Rosquil House had the best breakfast by far. My only regret was staying here so early in our trip, as every other breakfast paled in comparison. The room was very clean, a good size and comfortable. The location was great, just short walk to the main...

Rosquil House was built for travelers who enjoy the simplicity of bed and breakfasts but with more modern conveniences. Everything is clean and new, including the beds and the bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with cereals, yogurt, omelets, fruits and coffee. Our hostess Rhonda was friendly and helpful. We followed her suggestion and took a walking tour of...

We booked Rosquil House for our first four nights in Ireland as a center for day trips in the region. The facilities and staff exeeded our expectations in everyway. Rooms were comfortable and clean...clean...clean. Daily breakfast was delightful and plentiful. Our hosts were quick to assist with our plans and day trip options. After two weeks in accommodations including a...

Rosqui House is conveniently located to many of Kilkenny's attractions. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Phil and Rhoda were friendly and helpful. Though they are on a main road, there was no road noise.
