Stayed at the Lyrath for a short break with my husband in July this year. We booked the Romantic getaway offer. The package included a superior room, one evening meal, bubbly breakfast in bed on one morning, two spa treatments, wine and flowers on arrival. On arrival we were impressed with the setting and the grounds. The staff in every... More

Just returned from a much looked forward to trip to Lyrath. Hotel isn't very well sign posted but thankfully it was on google maps. The drive to the hotel in the lane is fabulous but very hard to see at night as there were no lights turned on, on this particular evening. Check in was slow as the que was... More

We arrived at 1 am after getting stranded in the Irish countryside with two flat tires. The hotel night staff were overwhelmingly accommodating, providing us with something to eat and drink at that late hour. The hotel was absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was ample in size and the bathroom was spacious. As with most of our Irish vacation proved,... More

We had an amazing room which helped our review enormously. We booked in for afternoon tea which was lovely but some confusion and delay in receiving our order. We ate in the restaurant and it was delicious. My only issue was nothing to do with the hotel rather the guests. There was loads and loads of kids there the weekend... More

I booked the 1 night B+B plus dinner package and had a very enjoyable stay. Prior to my visit I read several TripAdvisor reviews which were quite mixed. I can appreciate why some reviews may not be glowing especially if the writer expected 5 star perfection. What I experienced was, for me, better than that. Lyrath is a beautiful hotel... More

We had a fabulous family holiday in the Lyrath. Our kids loved the pool and had so much fun in the kids club with the lovely Ruth and gang. Food also suited my little ones. Happy kids makes happy parents. We'll be back.

I booked the lyrath for a night as a surprise get away for my younger sister who recently has finished her undergraduate degree and got accepted into her masters in social work. On booking I noted on booking.com that we were celebrating and it was a present from me to her. Nearer the time my Mam decided to join us... More

Visited here in July and not overly impressed with the hotel. Whilst the staff are friendly, breakfast is good, the foyer is lovely, the hotel itself isn't up to the standard of a five star. The wifi is horrendous and even though I like to get away from everything, sometimes you just need access to find information. For a five... More

Helpful front of house staff, food in the bar was great and did really good kids meals. Very accommodating to change around kids meals. Very busy could do with more waiting staff. Rooms- spacious and clean. Bathroom quite big with shower and bath. Breakfast room lots of choice and was very tasty. We had a very young baby with us... More
