Having checked out a few places on Tripadvisor, the Kilford Arms Hotel seemed like a nice place and good value. The reception staff were chatty and friendly when I rang to reserve my room and again upon checkin.... More

I used this hotel whilst I was working in Kilkenny for 3 weeks, and it was always clean, warm and the staff were helpful and friendly. The bars had a good selection of beers. The bar food menu was a little basic, but after long day on site, the food was good and the portion sizes were satisfying. I would... More

Very nice staff from reception to the pub. Less than 10 minute walk to the castle, and the medieval mile. Free car park, free great working wifi. The room may be outdated, but the fact that the family room we were assigned had four beds, made my family sleep more comfortably than we have in fancier hotels where the family... More
