Arrived early and lovely girls on reception sorted a room for us. The room was very small, basic and really really far from reception. I rang to ask if i could change rooms and a really helpful lady"english accent" from house keeping brought me to have a look at another room, she then went down to change my keycards, walked... I had booked and paid in advance for the 11th by mistake. We arrived on the 13th. The desk clerk said it could happen to anyone and immediately gave us a room! No charge! It was greatly appreciated! There was free parking at the back of the hotel. The hotel is literally minutes away from Kilkenny Castle ( A must... More

TV didn't work because the cable line had been ripped out of the back of the it; also, the TV was an old "boxy" one - not a newer flat screen. Room needs some updating. Spent some time at the... Positive point, the location of the hotel is quite good. You can walk by the city centre in 5 minutes. The staff is kind too. The room is adequate, but the temperature in our room was wet and hot. We bought a voucher who includes a 2 courses dinner each. Honestly, it was the worst we had in any restaurants... More

We were put in a room overlooking an alleyway and next to a pub, it was extremely noisy. Would like to have been advised of this and given the option of changing the room even if it meant an increase in price. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The position of the hotel... More
