Nice homely b&b. Very clean and lovely helpful lady Helen . Nice breakfast served in the coffee shop ! Only drawback was no parking . Room was very warm but had a lovely view of the river . Shower was lovely and there was coffee and tea facilities in the room . Would return here !!

While travelling to Kilkenny my sister joined for a visit and we elected to book this b & b for her first five nights. All was handled professionally and my sister was very happy rooms are nicely sized and clean. The location is good to if you want to explore the city. I would recommend this establishment and would send... More

Got transferred to this b&b from troysgate b&b as issues with over booking. The lady checking us in was quite rude on our arrival and we had to stand for 20mins waiting on the keys to the room in the cafe downstairs. The bathroom door in our room didn't close and we had no hot water or access to an... More

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Waterfront B&B in Kilkenny. It was an old but very nice place. The Hostess did everything that we asked and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely advise others to stay at the Waterfront B&B. The B&B is located in the city center with everything minutes away. Thank you... More

I stayed here with a group of five and it was a disaster from the moment we checked in; - Not all rooms were ready (even though we arrived over an hour after check-in time) - There was no running water for the first 40/45 minutes (we were rushing off to a wedding and were in a hurry to get... Went for lunch. Odererd a wrap from the very limited menu. 45 minutes later was served a salad? You can see into the kitchen from the restaurant. Only chef had no gloves/hairnet and left the restaurant to smoke in an apron and returned to prepare food with no gloves or handwashing. Then got overcharged by 5 euro. Really dissapointed

Without a doubt this was the worst experience I have ever had with a B&B or hotel. This is fraud. We were a party of 5 staying for 1 night for a wedding in Kilkenny and had booked 2 rooms. We were told that we could check in from 1 pm. We arrived at 2 pm and this is where... More

If you find that regular hotels don't provide enough bafflement and confusion, then this is the spot for you. Basically an Alfred Hitchcock movie. – We arrived at a place that had a different name to the place we had booked. Bit confusing. – B&B did not include breakfast. So it's just a 'B'. – Randomly no water for long... More

Awful place to have lunch. We went there in August and I still regret it. The "potato and cheese quiche" was only a "raw potato peelings quiche". Furthermore the slice was so tiny we asked the waitress why. She told us that it was the last one and that's why it was so small. She did not apologize neither proposed... More
