Stayed in the Hibernian on the Thursday night of the Thyestes in Gowran. When we arrived the Grumpy receptionist was a bit of cool start but when we got to the room it improved from there. The rooms are warm and comfortable with big deep beds. The hotel is exactly were you want

IRELAND is noisy and not good with dealing with the noise from the street and nightclubs. The population of Ireland drink and have parties and are some of the most friendly people you will find. If you don't find Irish people singing and partying in Pubs etc. you are probably somewhere else. Rooms are not air conditioned (just an old heater) we stayed there on the only hot day in Ireland this year and needed to leave the windows open, I suggest joining in the partying, and sleep when you get home cheers
