We are a party of seven on a road trip around Ireland. This was our first night out of Dublin and we were excited about experiencing some good old Irish Hospitality. Not so....Firstly it was difficult to find Churchview and it was further out of town than we had considered. When we arrived we were greeted by Patrick who immediately... More

We were suppose to be in another b&b but they had plumbing problems and so we were sent here by the first owner. He told us that Patrick would take good care of us. When we arrived, Patrick met us at our car and welcomed us. We were suppose to have three rooms for two but got one room for... More

We stayed here after another b&b that we tried was full and recommended it. We received a very warm welcome by Patrick. The room was very clean and with a double bed in and two single it was pretty full but this did not detract from anything. Our breakfast was lovely and the service was great. We would definitely stay... More

After a bad night in another B and B we were relieved to be at Church View. Patrick immediately made us feel at home and gave us information on how to get into Kilkenny. The room was perfect with a lovely view from the back of the house (The superior double is well woth it). Breakfast was lovely too, though... More

Comfortable hotel not far from Kilkenny and much cheaper than the city center hotels. Pat was very helpful. He talks fast but is easy to understand and talks very efficiently giving lots of useful information very quickly. They say kissing the Blarney Stone gives the gift of gab. Pat must have made out with it! Breakfast was very good.

Excellent place, very comfortable and clean. Great food and our host was super at providing recommendations for both Kilkenny and the surrounding area. Stayed two nights and would go back again. Straight into and out of Kilkenny City and only 4 - 5 km away (about 5-10 min. plus 10 min. walk).

Do not stay at this B&B. I have had the worst experience here, which includes the owner, a 'man' hurling foul abuse at young women. Not only this, but the place is old, cold, dirty and it doesn't smell pleasant. This should not be listed on any travel websites as it is not a representative of what Ireland and in... More

My friend and I had booked this B and B because of its "close" proximity to Kilkenny (it's actually about 15 minutes outside of the city and very hard to find). We arrived to be greeted at the door by the owner who didn't even let us into the door before harassing us about the "voucher". We tried to explain... More

It was quite difficult to find the B&B, which is placed at about 15 minutes by car from Kilkenny: not even the GPS could find it! As soon as we arrived, we noticed a cartel in the hall on which there was written “Our guests give us pleasure: some in coming, some in going”. Maybe the owners wanted to be... More

Food was excellent and rooms were adequate. We were travelling with two teenagers and booked through a tour group. Patrick, the owner wasn't happy when I gave him the voucher. He explained that they were teenagers and not kids and he had to figure out how to get his money. That was a problem between him and the tour group,... More
