Looking at the reviews we were looking forward to staying here. After a long drive in the day when we reached the property around 7:30 PM, we were told that they are overbooked and they are making arrangements at another B&B. No attempt was made to contact us during the day so that we could have looked at alternatives. The manager/owner apologized a few times and we were ok thinking that mistakes happen and as long as the alternative arrangements are made we will be fine. However, the other B&B (I dont want to name them as I didnt book them and it wont be fair), was Terrible with even basic services missing. We were put in a cramped room with the tiny bathroom. We really had no choice but to go with it.I would strongly caution everyone booking here to reconfirm as you will not be notified until you show up.…
The rooms are spacious and clean. There was even a small dining table that we could sit and enjoy some snacks or coffee in the reom. The bath is ensuite and there is also a walk in robe in our room.Spacious dining area and enough parkings. The host Soroca( hope I got it right this time)is very friendly and does her best to fulfill the needs of her guests. She even prepared the eggs for breakfast the way we like it.She was sensitive to our religious requirements and even recommended a Halaal restaurant for us in Tralee.Made good recommendations on surrounding places to visit and suggested to us a good Irish Cultural Dance show which apparently she herself is good at doing the dance.I strongly recommend this place if you are visiting Ireland.
We stayed here in August 2018 as we were attending a wedding in Traleee. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely hostess Sorcha. (Not sure if spelling in correct) she was very friendly and very helpful, even offered to drop us in to the town instead of us paying for a taxi. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. They breakfast was very tasty and freshly prepared. Sorcha went above and beyond the call of duty, my wife was getting ready for the wedding and she had a wardrobe malfunction, Sorcha offered to and took the dress down the town to get it fixed so that my wife had time to get her hair and makeup done. She literally saved the day 😀😀
My sister and I stayed here on the beginning of a walking holiday. What a great start. The hosts are extremely welcoming. They picked us up at the railway station, and drove us the next morning to the bus station. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and delicious. We each had ensuite rooms which were in perfect condition, very quiet and immaculate. I would recommend this place to anyone.
