Stayed for one night, room clean but hotel is tired and pretty run-down. I left a day early for better standard of accommodation. Facilities not great, food was not good and came to the table about 1 minute after ordering. The hotel has a cordoned off 'hostel' on the west side and this looks like a prison.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Killarney. We had a family suite. It consisted of 2 rooms, 2 double and 2 single beds. Table and chairs, small kitchen with fridge and microwave. Sofe, TV etc. Perfect room for a family. We had to move rooms after 1 night due to a plumbing issue and it was all arranged very easily and we had help to move our stuff. It's a big hotel and our first room was was quite far away from receoption. You wouldn't want to forget anything and have to pop back. The second room was a better location. The hotel is very family oriented. We have teenagers so we only used the pool but there are play areas for younger kids. The food was really good. We had breakfast and 3 evening meals which were all delicious. The location is good. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

This is really a fabulous hotel for a family. We stayed in a family suite. There were 2 rooms. One room had a double and single bed and a cot and then the second room had a double bed, a 2 seater couch and an armchair and a kitchenette. There was a small dining table in this room also. Microwave, fridge, kettle, cutlery and crockery are all in the room. There is also a large bathroom off the main bedroom and a TV in both rooms! As for the kids they had a ball! A pirate playground, fabulous pool, and a soft play area. Every few nights they put up a bouncing castle and my 3 year old loved this. He loved it all. I would highly recommend for young kids. We dined in the hotel both evenings, first evening my husband had cod & chips and it was small, my son had goujons and chips and both dishes were the same size. I had the curry and it was lovely. On the second evening my husband had roast beef and this was fabulous, and I had steak sandwich which was huge. All in all we had a fabulous break away here. Guidelines were well adhered to also. Felt safe There at all times. Breakfast was great also.

Room Tip: Family suites are a good walk from reception but there are pros to this as it is very quiet.

We had a great time. Only issue was breakfast could have a bit more variety and service a bit better. Although staff were all new post lockdown so still getting to grips with the job. Otherwise an enjoyable trip.

This is an okay hotel very busy. mid-week break for the family. Hotel had plenty of activities for kids which were good. Room was damp and smelled mouldy. Ordered food in the restaurant and wrong order was given to us. Forgot the starter ordered steak sandwich and were given steak which put a €15 extra price on the bill compared to what we ordered. A few of the waiting staff were very aloof.
