I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in Scotts Hotel in mid September with a group of golfers. I would have the height of praise for the management staff who were excellent. The service was first class, always with a smile and the staff could not do enough for us. All round it was one of the best mid week breaks I've ever had. Also great value with excellent food and drink. Great location with underground free parking.

Nice bar, staff attentive. We were in Killarney for one rainy day and night before we moved on somewhere else. Made the mistake of ordering food. Was dreadful. I though Weatherspoons in the UK was rubbish...God. I ordered cottage pie and chips. No taste whatsoever off the pie and the chips burnt to a crisp as attached. Why did I eat them? I was starving as had spent a rainy Tuesday in Killarney with not much open for business/dead and I know what happens to food when you send it back... In Killarney again?? Drinks, yes, food, hell no.

I recently stayed in Scott’s on a weekend away with a group of friends. The hotel is absolutely fabulous and the staff are very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. We decided to have lunch on one of the days in the bar and it was very nice. The room was very spacious and clean. Great weekend and looking forward to returning to Scotts in the future.

My husband and I stayed in Scott's hotel on the 18th and 19th of September to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have both stayed here before and really love the hotel and the staff. After a year of holidays and celebrations being cancelled we though we would treat ourselves to a couple of nights away so we booked a deluxe suite (room 245). Having an underlying illness I was personally concerned about social distancing and contact but I honestly need not have bothered. The hotel have everything set up to make sure social distancing is achievable and for the most part people stuck to it. Our room was beautiful with ceiling to floor windows running the entire length of the big spacious room. The bed hidden away tucked neatly behind a central wall. There was no housekeeping while we stayed but that suited me perfectly. I did have to ask house keeping for a top up on something and the lady I spoke to told me to take it from the cart myself. The breakfast was great. All cereals yogurts fruit pastries and juices were set out in individual portions and a hot breakfast order was taken at the table. It worked so well. We had dinner in the bar on the first night and in the restaurant the second night. I highly recommend the goats cheese starter. Amazing. We didn't go to the residents bar after dinner as I felt it was a bit too busy but that was my personal decision. We did have a drink before dinner and the bar staff were helpful and very efficient. Over all we had a great weekend and all my concerns were quickly at bay when I saw how well the hotel was adhering to the current guidelines. As usual I was extremly happy with our stay but I always have been when I stay in Scott's. Well done to all the staff.
