We stayed here two nights. I'm so glad we did. A short walk into the town. A wonderful place to stay. A perfect base to explore Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry. But the best comes every morning with a fabulous breakfast. And those scones. Yum.

Wonderful stay at the Algret House! Greta the owner was exceptionally nice and welcoming, the room was perfect for two people, and the food was amazing. It has everything you need, including wifi, plug converters and a fridge for guests to place food/beverages in! Would highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Algret House. We parked and were welcomed by Greta's enthusiasm. We had a room on the second floor and there was a small fridge near the entrance for all guests to utilize if need be. The latter was great to keep our water bottles cold! It was also very quiet being in... More

It wasn't a surprise that this place is as comfortable as it is because of all the awards and positive reviews that Algret house has been given but it was nice to find that it lived up to it's reputation. Greta is a wonderful host and her husband cooks a great breakfast.

We were a group of six friends traveling in Ireland. Algret house was a perfect spot to stay. It was easy to walk into town and the rooms were very comfortable. Of course Greta made the whole stay even better with her warm welcome and vibrant personality. We would definitely recommend this lovely B and B.

We stayed 2 nights at Algret house and we loved it. Greta is so sweet and caring, she was certainly born to host a beautiful Bed and Breakfast like this. Besides Greta, the rooms are all fine and the breakfast (especially the porridge) is outstanding. Five stars it is and you deserve each and every star of it!

Greta and Alfred are warm hosts. Algret House is completely updated and absolutely spotless. It is very quiet and peacefulbut a very short walk to shops and food. There is a shuttle to and from local attractions. Greta is happy to arrange for coach trips and their recommendations for food and music were spot on. Rooms were bright and fresh... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Algret House and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was easy walking distance to most of the Killarney sites, shopping, and restaurants. Gretta and her husband were perfect hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. We had a wonderful time.
