Stayed here for one night , great food and lovely staff... rooms were lovely and were very accommodating, would definitely stay again , great location in the middle of Killarney and close to everything , would highly recommend
I visited this establishment to watch the start of the new football season. We were greeted by a nice young lady who saw our group of 4 to our seats by the TV. Food was fine and reasonably priced. Unfortunately as the match went on social distancing took a back seat as people shuffled around to get a view of the TV. However worst of all the gents toilet had no soap, hand dryer was out of order and the only way you could dry your hands was to take toilet paper from a cubicle. The bin was over flowing with wet tissue. Bad enough in normal times but unforgivable during covid. Has put me off pubs entirely until the covid crisis is over.
Mon 17th Aug at 7:45pm We were greeted at the main entrance by a smile and escorted to our table for two. A young waitress welcomed us and gave us a detailed description of the menu, took our drinks order and returned with our menus. Neither of us intend on having the starter but those chicken wings were too tempting to pass on, for our main course I had the Burger and my wife had the Carbonara recommended highly by our waitress. The location was fabulous, the meal was divine and the service was exemplary. Fantastic restaurant highly recommended and our waitress we had on the night was wonderful. We will be back. 10/10
Whilst the dinner had was nice and homely cooked, the social distancing was non existent. We are upstairs in the restaurant and was put on a nice big round table for 6 of us. No one else was there, then along came a party of 10 who were so close to our table, the waitresses couldn’t get through! Then a party of 2 were squeezed in behind me and another party of 4 in the corner. All within chair touching distance! Complained to the waitress in ear shot of the owner who said she would pass it on as they themselves didn’t like the working conditions. All the staff were masked except the owner. Disgraceful
Visited as part of a stag weekend. Had several beers in here on a friday night. Live music being played which was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Beers are good quality and the place is excellent and lively. Visited again the following late morning for the full Irish breakfast very filling and tasty and good value. Washed down with another couple of pints of the black stuff. Again lively and great atmosphere. Definitely visit.
