The Old Weir Lodge was our first hotel on a recent trip to Ireland and we are thrilled with this place. The family owners are more than happy to help you with anything - restaurants, logistics, tours, pubs, sightseeing and recommendations about other places we were going in Ireland. The rooms were large, very comfortable and perfect for my wife,...

The hotel was nice enough. The room was large and clean, but the elevator to get up with your luggage was TINY - just enough room for 2 people and 2 large suitcases to squeeze in. The hotel is on a main street and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth it.

Wonderful hotel, perfect location. Great place as a base for exploring Killarney and the surrounding national parks including the Ring of Kerry. The staff were great and the accommodation was perfect. Only catered for breakfast but they were able to recommend some terrific local resaurants.

This is a great place to stay in Killarney. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The location is great for walking downtown and it's on the road to the National Park. The breakfast was very good as well!

A one night stay on our drive around Kerry, this was a last minute choice that turned out to be excellent. Easy walk into Killarney, restaurants nearby and the most friendly and helpful staff ever. Only missed out on five stars because the bed was a little uncomfortable. Great hotel though.

We stayed here for 2 nights in October and were delighted with every aspect of this hotel. It is ideally located for access to the Ring of Kerry as well as Killarney town centre, and our room (108) was very quiet, immaculately clean, well equipped and spacious. The breakfast choice is extensive and all of the staff are very friendly...

Great location, wonderful accommodations, good breakfast, helpful staff! We stayed here 3 nights and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in this area. The day we arrived it was pouring rain but we were able to walk to a great place for dinner which was perfect! Clean, safe, pretty, all around a winner!

The Old Weir Lodge was our favourite place we stayed in whilst visiting Ireland. Everything was great and no ask was too much (including late night pots of tea). The staff were fabulous and very accommodating. It was a close walk (5mins) into Killarney centre and the room was spacious & comfy. We would highly recommend staying here for a...

We stayed here for two nights, while attending a wedding in Killarney. All of the staff were very warm and friendly and made us feel at home. The lodge itself is not modern, but quaint, cozy and relaxed. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Location is about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown or a short cab ride. Really enjoyed...
