Everything about Friars Glen is amazing. The location is spectacular, the b and b is situated on a large, beautiful property that includes gorgeous flowers, a little creek, and plenty of deer visiting in the mornings and evenings. The rooms are spacious and clean and all the decor gives off a very homey feel. Mary and John are FANTASTIC hosts and will make sure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible. I could not recommend Friars Glen more!

This was our first stay at Friars Glen and we were very impressed with the whole package. The management (Mary and John) and staff (Brigid) were fantastic and made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped inside. Nothing was too much trouble to ask for and Mary had even recommended and booked a restaurant for us before we had arrived. The room was sizeable, even with 2 teenagers and very comfortable. The breakfast was sensational, a nicely laid out buffet and a hot food menu to make your mouth water. We will definitely return when we make a trip to Killarney again and highly recommend this lovely B&B

We stayed here in August 2021 with our 3 young children. Mary met us on arrival and showed us to our very spacious room and even had toys for the girls. Our kids still talk about the pancakes for breakfast. Adult breakfast is top quality! We tried everything on the menu. Also a lovely little buffet display. Mary is a natural host, always so helpful and friendly and the kids loved her. The back garden is huge and we saw deer here most mornings and evening. Highly recommended this place! We loved it

We've had this place booked for almost two years, having to shift it 4 times due to COVID, and we are so glad this place stayed on our itinerary. From the location to the breakfast to the rooms to the hosts, it was one of the best places we stayed, and we stayed in some nice places on our trip. Would always try here first if ever coming back to Killarney. Thank you for everything, guys. -The Four American Guys

My family group of 7 spent 4 nights in August 2020. Mary, John and Lizzie were incredibly hospitable, warm and friendly and gave us a genuine Irish welcome. The house was spotless and the garden is beautiful. Extremely generous home-made breakfast including Irish breakfast, pancakes, salmon, bagels, charcuterie, soda bread, scones, muffins, and tea, coffee and cake available later in the day in the sitting room with a log fire. Mary arranged trips and restaurant bookings and gave great advice on the best places to go. Very comfy, spacious bedrooms. Covid precautions were observed and we felt safe. I can very highly recommend Friars Glen.
