...It is timeless, with its dimmed lighting throughout, the steam room, sauna, vitality suite and even the treatment rooms were all gorgeous... Our room was beautiful, the his and her sinks in the bathroom made it more luxurious and the bed was large and very comfortable...

The monks lounge is basic and lacking atmosphere we went for a drink in the afternoon and only seats available were 4 stools at the bar which was fine but not the nicest experience , a rugby match was due on the tv and naturally was an interest to other hotel guests who also struggled to get a seat or space in this tiny area of a bar for hotel guests !!!!... Breakfast was included in the stay , the room it was held in was dated , carpet and curtains dated and just a berry old fashioned feel, even though the table was for 4 people there was barely enough room for all the different plates and cups etc... Beds were comfy and overall staff were very pleasant...

We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment, complete with a living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The rooms were all large and the beds were very comfortable...

In so many ways this is an outstanding five star hotel but the room let it down... In the room, the shower pressure was excellent... But sadly, the room just wasn’t in keeping with the rest of the hotel... Sadly there was a noisy fan outside the room which left us with a choice between a room that was too hot and a noisy one... Room - 3/5 Everything else 5/5 Maybe we were unlucky on the room we got...

...Unfortunately, amidst all the attentiveness they managed to mix up our rooms, we were given the wrong room (this room had a veranda with an ashtray full of cigarette butts on a table), they lost our luggage and we were waiting around 90mins before been shown the correct room... Our bedroom was lovely and clean as was the bathroom... We ended up going up to our room at 10.30pm as the hotel was acting like all residents were asleep... I'm not sure I would recommend the hotel as some nights the prices are quite high...

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at Muckross Hotel. The hotel itself and our beautiful room, were of 5 Star quality and every staff member we encoutered, treated us like family...

...We were given a lovely room overlooking the small river, flowing at the rear of the property...

...By the luck of the draw we were upgraded to The Innisfall Suite, one of two historical suites from the original building... A main master with bath with a large soaking tub, a second bath with a shower, an outer sitting area with a wet bar, (no alcohol), vaulted timber ceiling and fireplace... Also has a loft with another bed and sitting area...

The rooms are generous and the bed was very comfortable... Not withstanding one jacuzzi and steam room were out of action... The rooms have an empty mini bar and there isn’t a coffee make or kettle... Don’t get me wrong the place is lovely the staff friendly - it’s just that things aren’t quite up to scratch...

We were thoroughly impressed with the accommodations at Muckross Park Hotel and Spa. The rooms are impeccably clean and spacious... We look forward to returning and will be emphatically encouraging others to book their stay!...

...Our room was comfortable with a decent sized bathroom... This hotel is perfectly located for anyone planning on visiting Muckross and the National Park but still only a short taxi ride from town so ideal for all occasions...

...We checked into our rooms which were conveniently alongside each other a little treat was left for my sister on her birthday which was appreciated. Rooms were average at best , clean and somewhat spacious however one room had a blood stain on the towel , the socket next to the bed was coming away at the wall and a large iron mark on the carpet and cobwebs in the bathroom , not a 5* standard that you would expect... The tea room is beautiful from what we could see as we did not use it but the decor looked quite nice ... Breakfast was included in the stay , the room it was held in was dated , carpet and curtains dated and just a berry old fashioned feel, even though the table was for 4 people there was barely enough room for all the different plates and cups etc... Beds were comfy and overall staff were very pleasant...

...The downside is the distance from town, it was a 12-15 Euro taxi every time we went into town...

My husband and I got a dinner voucher for 2 for the Yew Restaurant so we decided to treat ourselves to an overnight stay for our anniversary... We were disappointed but at least Colgans honoured the voucher... I'm not sure I would recommend the hotel as some nights the prices are quite high... We purposely went Sunday night as the rate was cheaper...

...But sadly, the room just wasn’t in keeping with the rest of the hotel...

...We got massages there and they were excellent and in comparison to most hotel/resort prices for massages, they were not overpriced (125 euro for 60 mins)... You definitely get what you pay for considering it is 57 euro for 2 courses or 69 euro for 3 courses... The food is great, but if on a budget, it is not necessary to eat here... It is a fine dining restaurant, so if you are willing to spend that, you won’t be disappointed... But truthfully, this is something you can skip and spend your money elsewhere...

...enjoyed drinks and food here as well as getting the tour option picked up right from the hotel (although you can pay a little less if you go out to the park) apartment is clean, well organized and huge with plenty of space for everything you need and basically a full kitchen only small downside is having to walk through the parking lot to get to the main building which is a bit annoying when it rains skipped breakfast as it was a bit steep for us and more cost efficient to buy food or go out to a cafe this is the perfect balance of space, price, comfort and service - would definitely return!...

...We were offered complementary bikes to go into the park but we chose to nap instead :) If you are going to spend your money on a hotel stay during these uncertain times, Muckross park hotel and spa is the place to do it...

As usual from the minute you enter Muckross park hotel you are warmly welcomed back like old friends from the porters to the reception staff... Lovely to meet some new staff both in Monks Lounge and the Yew Tree restaurant for breakfast the following morning... We enjoyed a crisp but lovely walk in Muckross across the road before we came back to the room where we each had a bathroom so availed of a shower and a bath checkout... The staff in Muckross park hotel are some of the nicest people I've met and special thanks goes to both the manager and Regina for a fantastic stay, see you all again in 2023...

They always leave a welcome note and chocolates/prosecco to celebrate our anniversary which is such a lovely gesture... Check in/check out is also incredibly quick and easy - made even quicker by the emailed invoice on the morning of checkout... Myself and my partner stayed at this wonderful hotel for 1 night over the Christmas period. It was fabulous from the very start, Shane at reception was a pleasure to deal with, our bags were taken to our room and we followed shortly after... We ate in Gogans bar, which was lovely, listening to great live music and being served drinks by Joe, who was a pleasure... We had breakfast delivered to our room the next morning, which was fantastic...

From start to finish I could not fault the hotel... The staff couldn’t have been more attentive or friendly... From the bar staff to the receptionist each member went that extra mile to make our stay so lovely... I can’t wait to go back to Muckross hotel and spa... When you are paying for service and you receive such great service you really do feel that your money was well spent...

First thing to say is all the people that work here are so friendly and professional and a special Thank you to Gerry the concierge for making our few days there very memorable. When you want a day trip scheduled with a guided tour, he hooked us up with Moses and he took all 8 of us on a grand tour and learned so much from him of the history and way of life... Gerry also had a friend at our next stop the Adare Manor and all I have to say is a big Thank you!...

We enjoyed a delicious dinner and fun night out in town on recommendation from the front desk at check in and lots of laughs with concierge over my determination to bicycle through the park in the 'mizzle' and gale force winds after breakfast on our last day...

...Staff were fantastic and definitely are huge contributors to the hotels 5 star rating... Typically when i stay in 5 star hotels, the managers introduce themselves and make their presence felt throughout the stay by checking in with you from time to time... Thanks though to Oisin for the friendly and efficient assistance throughout our stay... The breakfast service was fast, efficient and friendly courtesy of the lovely Bernadette, Christian, Uros and his Team... We had some Spa treatments and both therapists, Phillipa & Amanda were amazing... The Spa is definitely worthy of 5 stars with its Vitality suite and the excellent therapists... But the Muckross Spa definitely lived up to its 5 stars... And also the lovely waitress Trish who looked after us with friendly efficiency...

...the hotel offers a complimentary bike hire which is perfect to experience the park. from the moment we checked in to the moment we were checked out the hotel staff were absolutely immaculate... friendly helpful and extremely courteous... if any element of the 5 star rating of this hotel is most exemplified its in the attitude and behaviour of the staff... my wife got a massage and facial whilst I spent 2 hrs in the vitality suite and also went back there the following morning before we left... the dining options were also excellent we had breakfast in the yew tree restaurant where again the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is paramount... for breakfast you receive a stand of pastries and fruit as well as a huge range of cooked options or cereals, more fruits cold meats etc all served to your table so no need to queue for a buffet which was brilliant...

...The back of my dress got very wet during the photos and your staff at the drinks reception were so quick to get me my room key and extra hair dryers to dry off the dress - absolutely brilliant service. I really what to thank Brian for all his help the weekend in sorting the apartments to getting us down for the spa and breakfast on such short notice due to our flight to Rome been cancelled the Thursday morning... We recently stayed in the apartments at Muckross Hotel, which were very spacious, clean and bright with all the equipment you need with ample parking. Staff at Muckross were extremely welcoming, polite, courteous, always willing to help and advise... Access to the Spa and bicycles were available as part of our stay...

From the first moment we arrived, we could tell Muckross was a cut above the rest... It was the staff which made this place better than the rest... We were greeted by everyone we passed with offers to help with our luggage even though it wasn’t part of their duties... Throughout the stay we had helpful offers of places to eat or ways to explore... Biking the park with provided bikes was so much fun... Housekeeping did an excellent job with our room... The various restaurant staff were great at managing all of the tables, never leaving us sitting and waiting for too long... I can’t say enough thanks to our breakfast hostess who sent us on our way with a box of extra goodies so we didn’t have to stop for snacks on our drive back to Dublin... We had our wedding at Muckross Park Hotel on 20 May 2022 and are still not over how amazing it was - all thanks to the wonderful staff at the hotel! We had a perfect and stress-free wedding day (and day 2 BBQ at Colgan's pub) thanks to them - especially Orla (our wedding coordinator), Daniel (the hotel manager) and Deirdre (the reservations manager)... The location of the hotel (right beside the national park) means that we were easily able to get beautiful photographs with our families and bridal party without missing too much of the party... Orla even arranged jaunting cars to take us to the park (and packed up some food and drinks for us to enjoy on the way), which is a lovely memory itself from the day... 5 stars doesn't even begin to cover the level of service and attention to detail shown to us during our stay!... One of our suppliers cancelled on the day of the wedding and Orla went out of her way to find us a replacement photobooth provider so the problem was solved before we were even aware of it... We can highly recommend having your wedding at Muckross Park Hotel...

A stunning gem of a spa in Killarney. We enjoyed relaxing massages and time in the Vitality Suite which was equipped with saunas, jacuzzis indoor and out... Then we stayed in a room for a night and it was cozy and very nice...

...So relaxing to switch off in a well-managed,well-maintained hotel with a superior spa attached. Breakfast and Afternoon Tea in the Yew Tree restaurant are an inspiring feast, while lunch and dinner in the Monks Lounge cannot be equalled for service, ambience or cosiness... Special mentions for Heidi and Grigor, hospitality at its finest...

...It was our fourth time to stay with you and it did not disappoint! We were blown away by the beautiful hotel and service once again!... We were welcomed back by the lovely ladies on reception... When we arrived to our bedroom there was a lovely , thoughtful welcome back gift waiting for us with a complementary bottle of Prosecco and a welcome back platter of chocolates with a personalised message for myself and Ciaran... The bedroom was fit for a king and queen with the amazing four poster canopy bed!... We throughly enjoyed dinner in Colgans which had the added benefit of live music... Breakfast the next morning was delicious and had a wonderful choice ... The spa and thermal suite was so relaxing... Thank you for an incredible stay and for providing the extra touches like the bottle of bubbly and chocolates... Without a doubt our favourite 5 star hotel!...

As usual from the minute you enter Muckross park hotel you are warmly welcomed back like old friends from the porters to the reception staff. From there you get to relax in your fabulous room and like my friend enjoy the lovely spa facilities and treatments on offer... We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the sitting area while chatting before we dined in Monks Lounge which was lovely with great food as always... Lovely to meet some new staff both in Monks Lounge and the Yew Tree restaurant for breakfast the following morning... We enjoyed a crisp but lovely walk in Muckross across the road before we came back to the room where we each had a bathroom so availed of a shower and a bath checkout...

...This hotel is stunning, from the building itself to the grounds, the spa and the interiors... The staff are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to look after you... They always leave a welcome note and chocolates/prosecco to celebrate our anniversary which is such a lovely gesture... Check in/check out is also incredibly quick and easy - made even quicker by the emailed invoice on the morning of checkout... The bathrooms are also fantastic with a large bathtub... The restaurant, Yew Tree, is an incredible experience... The price is quite reasonable considering the quality of the menu and how well looked after you feel... The Monks Lounge has a really warm atmosphere and a nice menu... I haven't yet visited the new afternoon tea lounge but it looks absolutely stunning - exactly like the photos on the main hotel page... The spa is one of the best parts of this hotel... The couples massage is a really nice treat and the relaxation room is amazing... The whole experience is incredible but make sure you get there early to try the hot stone/ceramic loungers!... I always recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway...

Myself and my partner stayed at this wonderful hotel for 1 night over the Christmas period. It was fabulous from the very start, Shane at reception was a pleasure to deal with, our bags were taken to our room and we followed shortly after... The room was beautiful, big & spotlessly clean... We ate in Gogans bar, which was lovely, listening to great live music and being served drinks by Joe, who was a pleasure... There was a large wedding the same night, but you wouldn’t have even known, as they had their own function room and bar to themselves... We had breakfast delivered to our room the next morning, which was fantastic...

...From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Every staff member couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable... The spa treatments were wonderful along with the vitality suite... We were offered complementary bikes to go into the park but we chose to nap instead :) If you are going to spend your money on a hotel stay during these uncertain times, Muckross park hotel and spa is the place to do it...

...This hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly attentive, offering a cocktail on check-in, happy to talk about the art on the walls, things to do and walks near by... There are bikes for free, but it was too rainy for us to bike so we didn’t use them... The spa has incredible thermal pools, steam rooms, sauna and an outdoor hot tub that was divine!... The rooms were large and had comfy beds and a good shower... The location was excellent, in the National Park with lots of beautiful sites within walking distance... We hiked through the park to the Torc waterfall and back to the hotel quite easily...

...We thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea in the Tea Room, with a wide variety of tea to choose from as well as some delicious sandwiches, scones and sweet treats too!... The Spa facilities are just wonderful too, with a steam room, sauna and vitality pool available... Breakfast was included too, and it was the perfect way to start the day with a selection of pastries and a full Irish Breakfast!... We will certainly be back in the future, thanks so much to all the staff at Muckross Hotel and Spa!...

...my wife and I stayed here for 2 nights midweek in early October with the intention of completely relaxing for a couple of days and we honestly could not have picked a better place to do it... I was able to run from the hotel into the park and back one morning and the experience of running through the park was amazing... its also a straightforward walk from the hotel to muckross house which is a definite must do... the hotel offers a complimentary bike hire which is perfect to experience the park... from the moment we checked in to the moment we were checked out the hotel staff were absolutely immaculate... friendly helpful and extremely courteous... the facilities were top class, particularly the vitality suite which was amazing... my wife got a massage and facial whilst I spent 2 hrs in the vitality suite and also went back there the following morning before we left... ideally I would have liked to use a gym and a full swimming pool but honestly didn't feel like I was missing out... the vitality suite was totally relaxing and immaculately maintained... the dining options were also excellent we had breakfast in the yew tree restaurant where again the friendliness and professionalism of the staff is paramount... for breakfast you receive a stand of pastries and fruit as well as a huge range of cooked options or cereals, more fruits cold meats etc all served to your table so no need to queue for a buffet which was brilliant... we had lunch and drinks in the monks lounge which also had great dining options and we had dinner one evening in colgans bar where the quality of food was way above usual pub grub and had a couple of quiet drinks here...

...The Abbey Suite looked absolutely amazing, like a dream world... The back of my dress got very wet during the photos and your staff at the drinks reception were so quick to get me my room key and extra hair dryers to dry off the dress - absolutely brilliant service... It was a fantastic day, I would 100% recommend your hotel to a friend...

...The staff could not not have been more friendly and helpful, the food was wonderful and the rooms were warm and comfortable. Great location with the national park literally over the road and free bike hire at the hotel gave us a brilliant means of exploring...

...Brian booked us 3 apartments in Muckross complex along with breakfast on the Sunday at such a reasonable price and organised our activities such as use of the vitality suites which were amazing. The apartments were so nice clean and spacious... We had dinner in the monks lounge on the Friday we arrived and it was so gorgeous, 10/10... My mother got a free glass of champagne from the women who served us due to her celebrating her 50th birthday and she was so nice and helpful... The breakfast on the Sunday was lovely and just what was needed after being in Killarney town the night before and the variety of food was like nothing I have seen before... I really what to thank Brian for all his help the weekend in sorting the apartments to getting us down for the spa and breakfast on such short notice due to our flight to Rome been cancelled the Thursday morning... We had a great time, hotel itself is fabulous and all the staff are so friendly, we will definitely be back...

...The room was really big but cosy... The vitality suite is a world of its own, very relaxing and calming... The Kilarney national park is just across the road and is fabulous to get an early morning run or just to walk around to explore the many trails...

...From the day we booked the venue to the actual day itself, everything was perfect. The staff went above and beyond for any request that was made... The bridal suite was brilliant - from having enough space for 6 adults to get ready to still being romantic for the bride and groom... They even had our room decorated for us with rose petals and another bottle of Prosecco after the wedding which was a nice touch... All our guests were thrilled with their rooms and spoke about how lovely the rooms were... Big plus, they were really flexible for any changes we made and everything just ran smoothly...

We recently stayed in the apartments at Muckross Hotel, which were very spacious, clean and bright with all the equipment you need with ample parking. Staff at Muckross were extremely welcoming, polite, courteous, always willing to help and advise... Excellent food at the Gastro Pub and Monk's lounge... Access to the Spa and bicycles were available as part of our stay...

...We stayed at Muckross Park for 4 nights, and because we received such great service there, we added a fifth night after our stay in Adare... We booked a junior suite and both rooms we stayed in were spacious, beautiful and very comfortable... Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and bent over backwards to make sure our stay was going well... A special shout out to Gene and Megan of the Concierge staff, Shane at the front desk and Chris Rogan, Manager of Colgans... We will recommend this resort to all of our family and friends!!!...

...From the first moment we arrived, we could tell Muckross was a cut above the rest. We expected the beautiful setting and the luxurious appointments... Throughout the stay we had helpful offers of places to eat or ways to explore... Biking the park with provided bikes was so much fun... Housekeeping did an excellent job with our room... The various restaurant staff were great at managing all of the tables, never leaving us sitting and waiting for too long... I can’t say enough thanks to our breakfast hostess who sent us on our way with a box of extra goodies so we didn’t have to stop for snacks on our drive back to Dublin... That little extra meant so much to us and guaranteed that we will visit Muckross in the future... Thank you again to everyone who made our stay the best ever,...
