My husband and I stayed here for our mini moon for 5 nights in one of the signature rooms and we couldn't fault a single thing. All staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Our room was beautiful and we had the most stunning view. Beautiful bathroom, amazing powerful shower, heated floors and the mattress was like a cloud!! 😍 Food was excellent too. All in all a fantastic trip and we will definitely be back. Rach & Kev

We spent two of our last nights in this amazing hotel We were given the coach house room 5 and to say we loved it is an understatement, it was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome bad enough comfortable. We had dinner on both evenings , the service is five star no doubt but as we had our 3 year old we were slightly nervous it would be too stuffy but not at all .. food was glorious and we felt so at ease I could go on and on but just to summarise we were devastated to leave

The Cahernane was highly recommended to us and so we decided to stop for 1 night on our way home from our "staycation" A beautiful place to unwind and dine. The little details are evident in the rooms with beautiful toiletries and comfy chairs while a wonderful shower, roll top bath and a luxurious bed make this hotel a real treat. The antiques throughout add to the experience and the dining room is beautiful , overlooking stunning country views and the grounds are well maintained. The waiting staff were lovely and really made us feel welcome We left here completely relaxed. Would have loved to stay a 2nd night but will return.

My wife and I travelled by train and taxi to this elegant and welcoming boutique country house hotel located conveniently close to the town; Muckross and the walks around Lough Leane. We enjoyed a thoroughly clean, well-appointed bedroom; delicious meals and the gracious hospitality of a well-trained and well-led staff. A real jewel. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the most discriminating of our friends and acquaintances.
