Following a change of ownership, the refurbished public areas of the hotel are taking shape and should be completed soon. The rooms are lovely, the staff great and the location could not be better with the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep almost. Use Hynes Car park 50 metres away and you have all the elements of...

We stayed here for 1 night during the arts festival. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is being refurbished but this did not effect our stay. It has the potential to be one of the finest hotels in Galway when finished. I will definitely be staying here again.

Brunch was only ok & not much to choose from on a Sunday but the atmosphere is very relaxing... Decor-beautiful in the lounge. Service slow. Kids can decorate their own cupcakes & top their own pizzas @ the kids table. A lovely touch! Central. Attracts parties as well as Hen parties at night during the weekend & is noisy... Busy.....

My mom and I showed up at this hotel after parking our car and carrying 50 lbs of luggage in the rain to find that it is no longer in operation. It was disheartening that we were not contacted ahead of time and had to make back-up reservations at the Harbour Hotel on the fly. Not the best experience, especially...

I wanted a nice hotel and a great location and we found both and more!! The hotel was awesome. It had the quaint feel of a small Inn but the rooms had all the amenities of the larger hotels. We had a deluxe queen room and it was extremely spacious!! It was beautifully decorated. It had accommodations to use my...

Arrived in Galway today with reservations for two nights at the House Hotel. We were dismayed to see a "closed for renovations" sign on the door. When we called, we were told that the hotel closed June 2 due to financial issues. They said they tried to notify all guests with reservations, but I received nothing from them. Thankfully the...

Stayed here for one night in April for a party to celebrate a good friend's 40th birthday. My wife booked this and we had a good time. The hotel was not cheap but comfortable. The decorations and furnishings are all very pink and feminine. Judging by the clientele, I guess that is what the hotel planned to cater for. There...

This is a gem in the centre of Galway. The decor is modern and quirky. The rooms are small but stylish. The range of food for breakfast, catered for every taste - the granola was scrumptious and the fry was clean and tasty. I'll definitely be back again!
