Nice location, able to park and just explore on foot during our stay. Apartment was nice but a lot of walking from parking garage then several sets of stairs with luggage. Well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. Only complaint was since located on street behind hotel we were woken up VERY early by garbage trucks.

On our arrival we were 'upgraded' to an apartment. I was unsure, but reception convinced me that it is much better than the room we had booked. If so, I hate to think what the rooms are like. It was big but around block from hotel. More like a dreary motel. We had to carry our bags there in the...

While traveling around Ireland, we spent one night at this property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by smiling and helpful staff and directed to our room, which was a two bedroom apartment in an adjoining building. The unit included a full kitchen, with a washer/dryer combo. The bathroom was good size, with a deep tub and the unit was located...

I stayed here with my family for just one night but loved this hotel, it is very close to Galway's pedestrian center, in an old mansion with a comfortable underground car park. The room was spacious and clean, the staff wars courteous and helpful and the breakfast abundant.

We were offered the penthouse apartment that sleeps 7, and decided to take advantage of the chance to socialize more easily with our group. It was located about a block from the main hotel. There were two bathrooms, so two couples shared that, and we had the en suite portion. Views of the city were amazing, and it was fairly...

This hotel is adequate, but not special. The rooms were hot and required a lot of attention to the radiators. Rooms are spartan, but clean and well maintained. Showers have "spikes" of hot water. They "forgot" my request for a wake up call, so we almost missed our flight home. There is no lobby. If you are out late, you...

Stayed for three nights at The Western Hotel with my wife, daughter and son. Checked in and went to our room to find not enough beds, returned to reception to be told that is what I had booked on line and that my children would have to share a bed (a single bed). I however had my email confirmation that...

Went on vacation with a group of friends and we loved this spot in Galway. It was walkable to many pubs and shopping but in a quiet spot. There is free parking behind the hotel / underneath. The rooms were neat and clean. The mattress could be replaced but overall we enjoyed our 2-night stay. It was everyone's favorite part...
