Okay, this actually goes back to August of 2008 when imstayed here, but I will never forget this place! Marie and Tom bent over to assist me with planning my day, etc. To this day, I'll never forget Marie providing me with a special grain bread because I liked it so much for the first morning, Marie making the fruit... We were welcomed by Marie and Tom and we immediately felt at home. After showing us to our room Tom drove us to a nearby Hotel to eat. We were tired when we got back and went straight to our room. Next morning we had a wonderful breakfast made to order by Marie. We took a look at her wonderful... More

We stayed 2 nights with Marie who was extremely helpful with suggestions for dinner and places to visit. Our room was very pleasant and her breakfast had everything you could wish for and more - warm fruit with choice of yogurt, yum!! The position, close to the beach and the centre of town was very good.

Met at the door by Marie who was instantly friendly and welcoming. The house and accommodation was lovely and breakfast a real treat with delicious hot fruit and yogurt among the many items on offer. Marie gave us lots of information on what to see and do and where to eat in Galway and her husband Tom drove us into... More

I stayed recently in Bayberry House in Salthill, Galway. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I had a kingsize bed with an excellent firm matress. The bathroom was very good with a 'power shower'. The owners are lovely friendly people. Breakfast was first class. It was cooked fresh to order and was extremely tasty. I spoke over breakfast... Just as we arrived, our hostess, Marie, was getting ready to drive two other guests into downtown Galway. She offered to give us a lift as well. She dropped us right downtown where we were able find a place to eat, and time to walk around and enjoy the street entertainers. Marie had shown us how and where to get... More

We stayed at this lovely home. Marie was an outstanding host. She took care of us as soon as we arrived. She even drove us into town on both nights. She also recommended us to see the show " Trad on the Prom". A great show! The breakfast each morning was outstanding. Traditional Irish breakfast! In Galway, we recommend this... More

We were here in May and had the best time. Our hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful (and funny). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and it's changed our future trips to Ireland to include much more of this area. We would love to stay with them again. Could not recommend them more highly.

We drove into Galway from Ballyvaughn, which only took an hour. We arrived at Barberry early around 10 AM. Our hope was to get some information, including directions to a laundry facility. We knew that Marie was most likely still working on breakfast for her current guests so we did not want to take up much of her time. She... More

A wonderful B&B!! Booked through irishtourism.com, we had a terrific two night stay. Marie was an outstanding host, providing helpful information about the local area, things to do, and even provided us with a ride downtown both evenings. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options both hot and cold, and made to order. Marie's special warm fruit... More
