Iv been here twice now. Once for my hen party last year and with friends this year. This is a perfect hotel if your looking to enjoy the nightlife of Galway. Right on eyre square, you can find everything on your doorstep! Rooms in the hotel are generously spacious with modern flat screens in each. Air conditioning also in the...

For the price of a standard room I personally did not think it was worth it . The location is great but the standard bedroom is average enough. I think it depends which room you are allocated but the one we got was very dark and cramped . My advice is too pay for the superior room its worth the...

Stayed here at the weekend for my friends hen party. Great location just off eyre square. The rooms are basic but are fine for groups like hens and stags. We had food in the restaurant as part of the package. Food is average with an ok choice of options on the set menu. Again was fine for the hen but...

Stayed for one night recently and it served its purpose but at €139 (incl. Continental breakfast) it was only average. The staff were all very nice, especially in the bar area. Our room was at the very back of the hotel and quite a stroll along creaky corridors that needed a lick of paint in places. The room itself was...

This place is a bit older and could use with a renovation...but it was good value. Beds were new and comfortable. Room was spacious. Good sized bathtub. Water pressure was fine. Main areas the carpets are red, need stretching and as noted, string shell of cleaning fluid, so you need to get past that. The ROOMS are not smelly, and were...

My elderly mother traditionally liked eating at the Imperial, so recently i arranged to meet my aging aunt in the same location with two others for lunch,I had the chowder, it was very unchowdery, more like a steak sauce, same texture and colour, and bland to the taste. I went to the toilet and almost wretched as the urinal was...

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed during a driving tour of Ireland and especially appreciated John Kelleher, who went out of his way to make sure that we made it to our next destination without getting lost. He was extremely helpful (and had a great sense of humor).

I stayed in May for 2 nights. I had read reviews before I got there and was quite worried the hotel would not be up to my standards..however when we got their I was very surprised. When we arrived I had to go park my car in a shopping center car park - this is only across the road and...
