Stayed here for a couple of nights in early Jan 2017 mainly to take the Cliffs of Moher and Burren tour in Galway. The New Zealander receptionist was friendly, gave me advice on that evening's pub crawl and recommended a place around the corner called Busker Browne's for some Irish stew - he even gave me a voucher so I...

This hostel is a great little treasure of a spot in Galway; The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The common room is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is also clean, spacious, and well equipped for making your own meals if you so wish. Really, the only downsides were the unpredictability of the shower temperatures, and the wonky heating in...

My friends and I have stayed here so many times. Great location, rooms and staff! Felt so welcome and the staff recognised us, which was lovely. 8 of us stayed so had a room to ourselves. We will definitely be back!

The place is in the centre of everything. Wonderful staff. I found it weird that the kitchen was locked by midnight because I was hungry the rest of the night. The breakfast needs to be improved. We were grumpy that morning like our spirits were lunging for more. I used the fish I had to jazz up my plate and...

We stayed here with a large tour group and they had room for all of us (even our luggage before check-in). It's not luxury by any means but it sufficed, especially when you're not spending much time there anywhere. My only complaint was the breakfast.. Not a fan of lukewarm milk. I usually just grabbed something from a coffee shop.

Excelent location and staff that really cares about you. A bit noisy thanks to the location in the heart od the Latin Quarter, but I hilghly recommend the hostel. They jave breakfast, lockers in the rooms and a place to store your lugagge even if you checked out.

Everything is perfect that is to say : location, price, country, trips offered, service, guests, athmosphere, service, management, with 2 exceptions: slow motion drainage in the showers & lack of waste separation.

We didn't stay in the hostel but we rented out a small apartment behind the hostel that they manage as well. It was small, clean, simple and in the heart of downtown Galway which was exactly what we were looking for. Parking was a little tricky to find, avoid setting your GPS to park in front of the hostel -...
