This was our second visit to the galway bay hotel and as on our first visit we were not disappointed. We were allocated a beautiful room on the west side of the hotel with an incredible view. The room itself was large comfortable and well appointed as was the bathroom. As usual the food at the Galway Bay was first class and the young diningroom staff at dinner and breakfast were among some of the most well-mannered, helpful and efficient young people we have ever encountered in a hotel. Well done! Reception staff also incredibly helpful and efficient. The Galway Bay is in a wonderful location and Galway city is within easy reach. A wonderful short break and we look forward to our next. Thank you Galway Bay.

We recently stayed at The Galway Bay Hotel and once again it was a really really enjoyable experience. We have returned to this hotel many times in The past few years and the standard never disappoint. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. (not to mention the view)The breakfast has a great menu to choose from and the dinners are a delight. All the staff from Reception to Breakfast to Dinner to room service are a delight to deal with. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who like something a little above the norm.

The staff are professional and courteous. Special mention to Catherine in reservations who dealt with our booking, we has several requests and she obliged us in every way. Decided to book a “county cation” for our anniversary as we couldn’t leave the county, saw some great packages advertised on their website. The hotel itself has a lovely homely charm to it, The staff from check in to check out are a credit to the hotel. Food in restaurant was lovely didn’t get the waitresses names in the restaurant but the two girls did a great job with a very busy restaurant and only two of them on and were very friendly and professional. The residents bar is cosy and has amazing views of Salthill. Ciaran and Alan made sure every drink was to a very high standard and presented beautifully. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away during these uncertain times.

Myself and my boyfriend recently stayed here and enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel has adapted well to the current situation. All staff had masks on there Walker no big crowds and hand sanitiser was provided throughout the hotel. The staff were so helpful and so friendly also. We had a gorgeous dinner in the hotel followed by some delicious cocktails in the lounge afterwards. Will definitely stay here again soon. Thanks to all the staff at the galway bay hotel for a lovely stay.
