I love Galway so when I decided to have a night away during a Sunday heatwave in Dublin this city was my first choice. I would usually stay around Eyre Square but as my brothers where taking their boys we thought Salthill would be a better choice. My only criteria was a nice hotel and with the prices we paid... Stayed in Galway Bay Hotel for 2 nights, 1 dinner included. Receptionist was helpful, even showed a demonstration on how to use key card. Room was great, on side of hotel therefore had a view of Salthill Promenade and Galway Bay. Breakfast in this hotel is fantastic, there is absolutely everything in the cold buffet, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, and... More

I stayed at the Galway Bay Hotel last week with my wife and two daughters. Our experience was outstanding. As others have mentioned, the staff at Galway Bay is just lovely--friendly, accommodating, dedicated to making the guest experience a great one. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. There are great spaces for hanging out with a beautiful... More

Stayed here after staying at the Westin in Dublin so maybe unfairly comparing but for what we paid here we would have expected more. Rooms standard and clean with very basic amenities. Disappointed that no brochure with hotel services was anywhere to be found in either of the two adjoining rooms we reserved and no information was given to us... More

Visited this hotel for 1 night recently to celebrate my mother in laws 70th birthday. I had asked when making the booking if we could be allocated rooms with a bit of a sea view and they said they would do their best. That they did. We had 2 great rooms with views over the conservatory looking out onto the... More

We stayed 3 nights here and then 1 night in Galway city, if we return to Galway I wouldn't go back to this hotel. Clean but average rooms for the price and the food at breakfast, dinner and a function we attended here were well below what should be expected when paying these rates. The staff in the restaurant were... More

Just stayed here two nights. Had a fab time. Pros and cons .... The staff are great, all so helpful, interested and friendly. Breakfast was nice served in the main restaurant, we were served tea coffee and toast and had to select hot food from servers - the rest was buffet - all very relaxed. The singer in the bar... More

This is a great hotel, especially for young families. The pool is lovely and warm and my son loved it and could have stayed in it for ages. There is a well stocked playroom which we used each evening and a funfair right beside the hotel. There is a separate breakfast room, if you wish to use, for families also.... More
