We had a fantastic time great hotel to stay in the hotel. The wedding was fabulous great food and entertainment. Staff were brilliant great service. Everything was perfect. The room was super but a bit pricey as we didn't get discount for wedding. When we tried to book online it gave no availability but later phoned and got room. Overall a good stay but not prepared to pay the price again as we're pensioners. Shame we didn't get wedding rate!

My friend and I stayed here last week and we could not recommend enough. Amazing views from the front of the hotel, and wonderful atmosphere throughout the building. The food was delicious and we were looked after by the lovely Genie. Went to the bar afterwards where there was great music and perfect pints of Guinness. Will be returning no doubt!

Myself and my girlfriend decided to book into the Galway bay hotel for the weekend and it did not disappoint from top to bottom. Breakfast was very well managed by Caroline and Cian! When it came to dinner time everything was done with speed and efficiency. Special shout-out to Michael, Donal, Jamie and Karolina for their great service.

While we enjoyed our large renovated room with a gorgeous view of the ocean & very warm welcome with large bottles of water, fresh baked goods & bottle of wine you are at a distance to the tourist areas (but close to the Hop on Hop off Bus which is fantastic). Note: This hotel serves large bus loads which sadly were in when we were there and made the dining room more like a comedy fest-took away from the romantic dinner we thought we would have overlooking the ocean. We noticed on our venture around Ireland that other beautiful hotels had separate dining areas for their bus loads which gave the groups a place to gather together and have their wonderful group dinners and small groups/couples their quiet fine dining experience…maybe one day this beautiful hotel will do the same. I do reccomend this hotel for those whom love the ocean like me! ♥️

This hotel has a lovely situation on the bay and it has nice rooms that are very clean and very tidy. It is, however, a big hotel and as such its main focus is on conferences, coach trips and weddings (necessarily, probably nowadays) which means it really cares very little for "individual" guests. In our experience staff at reception were bored and uninterested,, twice we requested things and were given short shrift. Wedding parties drive anyone else from the terrace - we felt we had to move when we were surrounded. There are little things that would have made our stay better - some bottles of water in the room for example, loo roll instead of tissues (really!!?) and two working lifts would be good. It's not a bad hotel by any means but it's not top class either - the staff are just not "caring" enough generally or in the restaurants.
