Yes the location is convenient to restaurants and shopping was close-by but the room was very noisy. Our room was on the street side and it sounded as though we were sleeping on the side of the road. The room was stuffy and I thought my husband opened a window it was so loud. After a horrible nights sleep due...

Not quite what we expected when checking in to the hotel... No mention of the renovations underway when booking. With plenty of choice of places to stay in Galway looks like I made the wrong one - especially when like properties can be had for the same amount. I understand that renovations do need to happen but reception is a...

First off as has been said in multiple other reviews this hotel has a great location, it's only minutes from Shop Street and Eyre Square so location cannot be faulted. However the current refurbishment really did impact on our visit. When we arrived I was actually unsure as to whether the hotel was even open! Numerous guys in hi-vis vests...

Arrived late on Friday for a two night stay, dealt with quickly at reception. Twin room is a good size with one double and one single bed. Bathroom good size but could do with a little updating. Had a bite to eat in the bar before heading into the town, food selection is good and reasonably priced. Buffet breakfast has...

The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment of the lobby, bar and lounge areas with a temporary check-in desk. They are still managing to operate food and beverage services out of one of the ground floor function rooms. Other than that the hotel is a short walk away from the town centre, is clean, well maintained and has excellent friendly staff....

My wife and I stayed here recently for one night. Let me begin by saying that this hotel is a low 4 star. However, it is clean and most importantly, central. Parking is available to the rear but must be paid for separately. And so endeth the good news.......................... Upon arrival, we were greeted by on-going renovation work to the...

I have stayed at this hotel before and on previous occasions was very happy with my stays. Unfortunately that's not the case this time. On arrival we were shocked and dissappointed to see the hotel lobby, bar & restaurant was under renovation! The temporary solution of a function room being used as a bar/restaurant had zero ambiance so we dined...

Hotel is under construction, a much needed update. Bar dining center is drab and dull, construction mess in lobby. Staff was marginal. Rooms are small. We had our parking ticket validated but we're still charged E16.00. I strongly suggest you stay away

Stayed there in the third week of March. Short walk (only a few minutes) to everything in Galway. Great breakfast buffet came with our room for only an extra 10 euros total for two of us: white/black pudding, scrambled eggs, bacon/rashers, sausage links, fruit, cereal, toast, brown bread, specialty bread, croissants/French pastries, potatoes/hash browns, beans, etc. For a little extra...
