We had a fantastic five-nights stay at Glencree B&B, we fell in love with our hostess Maureen, always cheerfull taking care of us. Breakfast was great, enough choice: toast, homemade bread, pancakes, cereals yoghourts, scrambled eggs, Irish breakfast ofcourse availlable. We were out most of the day so the room was large enough for us and very quiet during the... More

This is a small but clean and very lovley accommodation. The owner is very friendly. The breakfast an experience if you like irish music. We would defintely stay here again. Only minus are the thin walls and a shower with no pressure. The Salthill promenade is in walking distance and worth looking by.

The Glencree B&B is a cozy little B&B located approximately 10 minutes walking distance from Galway City Centre and is on a quiet little street. The proprietor Mrs. Maureen Nolan was the extremely kind and the perfect host. She was able to answer our questions and provide directions to points of interest nearby. The room was clean and tidy. The... More

Mureen, the host, was superfrienldy and very polite! She told us a little bit about the town and then showed us the room which was big, nice and very clean. (free wi-fi in all the rooms!) The bathroom was big and clean too! The next morning we had the biggest surprise: Maureen made for us a wonderful irish breakfast, and... More

I just have to start with the first impression, because it wasn't good and it really should be fixed (everything else was just fine). The main entrance to Maureen's B&B is through sliding glass doors in to a kind of sun room. Not the greatest; but the worst part is that this is the smoking room. I believe that her... More

We stayed with Maureen for 3 nights in early October. Aside from some initial trouble in finding the place the first night, our stay was very good and Maureen could not be a better host. The B&B is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main center of town, easy peasy and a good way to walk of some of... More

Stayed here for one night and it is only a ten minute walk to the city centre. The first thing that hits you when you walk into the lobby is a stale smell of smoke! Not a problem though as once lovely Maureen has taken you to your room the smell has gone. It was very cosy and clean but... More

We loved staying at this B&B while traveling with my husband and his parents. Maureen couldn't have been more welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location was good (15-20 minutes walk to city center, 5-10 to Salthill). It's close to the boardwalk along Galway Bay which is really nice. I would truly recommend this place most of all... We spent here just one night but everything was perfect: our host was so friendly and nice and the breakfast she made for us was really good! The position is very good: you can reach the city center with a short walk, and the seasside was realy close! The room was big and clean and so the beathroom (not so... More

This a lovely B&B with clean and comfortable rooms located a ten minute walk from the Galway outdoor walking mall. Maureen is a wonderful ambassador for Ireland and exemplifies Irish hospitality. She gave us the best advice about where to go and what to see during our very short stay, and also prepared a lovely breakfast that filled us up... More
