4 of us went for a family meal, I had the seafood special, My wife and daughter had scampi, and my son had a steak burger. My son really enjoyed his steakburger, generous proportions with a lovely salad and fries. I was not hugely impressed with my seafood, scampi, prawns, etc but there was plenty of it, I thought it...

We arrived at 1pm on Saturday, we were welcomed by the friendly receptionist and quickly shown to our room. The room was very large and beautifully decorated, it had everything you need for a comfortable break. The food in the hotel is excellent, the breakfast is just perfect, served to you by really nice staff. The hotel is an easy...

Lovely hotel just on the outskirts of the main hubbub of Galway city centre. We took a taxi when going out at night which cost us roughly €8-€10 each way so quickly adds up! Hotel is well kept & definitely pays attention to detail with beautiful art work & high spec appliances, i.e. The shower in our room was amazing!!...

I can never understand why the portions are so small in the Huntsman. The food is lovely very good quality but tiny portions. I wish they would charge more give a proper size and I would be happy. I ordered Hake grilled I would have eaten two of them no problem. I feel like Oliver Twist asking for More. It...

Couldn't fault this place on a single thing. The seafood was all delicious as expected in an establishment so close to the sea, the pints were great value and the atmosphere watching the Ireland rugby match on their HUGE telly was brilliant. Found the staff to be very helpful and polite. The roaring fire made the place feel warm and...

Great value for a midweek stay, includes a great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and modern. Pub-grub good value and delicious. Good selection of seafood as you'd hope for so close to the Atlantic! Great location - 1km walk from city. Free parking.

Wouldn't really rate the pasta dish I got here, it was meant to be served with crostini but came out with 2 pieces of really soft bread, the toppings on it were pure cold and never complimented the dish at all, the last time I ate there I had a similar experience,

Stayed here for 1 night in Galway, loved this hotel. Room was huge and very modern, big bathroom but beware of the radiator in the bathroom, it burnt both of us! Food is unbelievable, ate in their restaurant for all 3 of our meals and could not knock service, taste or value. The menu had plenty of options and the...

Had a meal here on New Year's Eve. The place was very busy with bookings and post rugby match. We hadn't booked as we were on our way home from holiday. But we were fitted in, given a table and the food as always was delicious. Always eat here when in Galway. Free parking. So handy.
