We loved our stay at the Holiday Hotel. The manger, Martin, was so friendly and accommodating. He held mail for us before we even got there and upgraded our room to a room with a view. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The location was very nice and close to great restraunts and O Conners bar.... More

We stayed here for our second time last week. We had our two grandchildren with us and they had a great time in Galway in general. The hotel is located on the promenade. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable and all linen fresh. Room was cozy and warm and even though above a bar there was no... More

Centrally located hotel in Salthill. In walking distance of all amenities in the town. Clean rooms and comfy beds. The rooms are above a bar... The office.. Which was really buzzing and good for a quick drink.

We just stopped here for a few drinks. They were lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It is situated in a very peaceful spot and lovely just to sit and chill. The staff were very friendly. I was just wondering if there was a child's bubble gun toy left behind?

We stayed here only for one night. After seeing it on TripAdvisor as not being too good we didn't know what to expect. It was amazing. We were greeted by friendly Martin. Then given our rooms which have a TV and their own built in router so you have the best connection. We had only booked a twin room but... More

This hotel is in a great location. Friendly welcome. Bar underneath the hotel is very busy and a good atmosphere. Live music too. Surprisingly well soundproof for the rooms above. We stayed in room 8 which overlooked the road...very noisy from the street. Shower was fairly terrible but just about useable as very low pressure. No fan or air con... More

We choose this hotel for location and prize and were not disappointed. Our room was comfy and clean and the bathroom was adequate. Staff were always friendly and the pub downstairs was great for a nightcap. Lots of shops and restaurants around and the beautiful promenade to walk on. Also so close to the show Trad on the Prom. Would... More

The Holiday Hotel is located in the Salthill district of Galway....under a block away from the beautiful coast line! To get to the city center it is a 30 minute walk...which was less than ideal...but since it was such a beautiful walk, we didn't mind. The hotel staff were very non-existent...we only saw them upon check in. The room perfectly... More

We were 5 friends visiting Galway for a night out and booked 3 rooms rooms in the hotel for one night. The man on reception was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit dated, but were clean and for a nights stay were ideal. Bed was comfortable, 2 pillows provided per person, ample towels etc. Prior to our stay... More
