Sorry to say that we failed to see the charm of this B&B. Somehow the magic welcome which the positive reviewers received was not for us. There was, in fact, just a mild feeling of being something to put up with. Good beds and a quiet room, yes. Space to put our suitcases and still walk around our beds -...

We had a great stay at this B&B. Bridie was very kind and helpful. We coordinated our group with the Roncalli House that is right across the street. The location was within walking distance of a couple of Pubs, our favorite being the Cottage Bar about 10 mins or so. We stayed in 4 B&B's on our trip and this...

This was the first B & B we stayed at when we went to Ireland. Birdie was so wonderful and gave a warm welcome to weary travelers. Honestly, I felt as though I was home visiting with Mom :-) Birdie's home was very cozy and comfortable and she is a great cook! I regret that we didn't take any photos...

What a lovely B&B this is! We stayed for 2 nights and it was real value for money, the room was nice and clean, the host is lovely and full credit to all the effort she puts into making her guests feel welcome-we certainly did. Breakfast was very nice and not greasy like you get in some hotels. The location is...

We had a lovely stay at The Rock Lodge B&B. We hadn't booked anything for the evening and were pointed to The Rock Lodge by another local B&B. On arrival Bridie was very welcoming and friendly and got us sorted in our room straight away, made us comfortable and allowed us to settle in. The room was nice and clean...

The Rock Lodge is a beautiful house, but the rooms are quite small. The bathroom barely offers room to move and the shower is claustrophobic. However, the common areas are well-decorated and comfortable and the hostess Bridie is sweet as can be. Her breakfast was good too. The location is close to the city centre and is an easy walk,...

This very nice B&B is in a great location, easy walking distance to both the Promenade and Salt Hill and the busting center of Galway town. The hostess, Bridie, is a friendly, helpful gal, very personable The home is nicely appointed with antiques and reproductions, original artwork, and is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and very nice. There is...

Hostess was nice, breakfast was good. Be aware you have stairs to carry your luggage up. Bathroom was small. Walking distance into the city center. It's on a main road, so unfortunately it was quiet noisy throughout the night with traffic and people walking/chatting. Private parking, but could be tricky depending on how many guests are there.

Bridie is a great hostess. She communicated with us several times before we arrived and again when we got lost trying to find the B&B. It was nice to be able to take a walk close to the Bay. We drove into Galway because it didnt seem to be the safest place to walk to the City Centre. Parking was...

This was not a happy stay. The location is fine, off a main street, and within a 10-15 minute walk to Galway town centre. But the place needs an overhaul. It was tired and dated. This would not be a problem necessarily, but it was also dirty, cobwebs in the corners, dirty marks everywhere, and I was not sure the...
