Detailed Reviews
I stayed here with my boyfriend and friends as I was attending a friends wedding in Galway in December 2019/January 2020. The apartments were nicely decorated and clean. The beds were quite comfortable and the view from the rooms was stunning! (We stayed in the penthouses). The facilities were good, including a stove, utensils/cutlery, a television and iron etc., however we did tend to eat out a lot and spend more time in the local pubs/drinking. We stayed here for 5 nights and the apartments were definitely worth it for the price we paid. The apartments were also in walking distance of the restaurants, takeaways and pubs, and taxis were easily accessible. The only negatives were the rooms were not cleaned daily; we did not get clean bedsheets or fresh towels although there were a fair few clean towels in the bathroom on our first day. The water in the shower was also freezing cold one evening so I had no choice but to suffer! The receptionists also got mixed up with our booking and double-booked our rooms on the last day by mistake, so we had to move rooms to the floor below, however the rooms were still nicely decorated and as a bonus we got fresh towels and sheets and did not get charged for our last night! I would recommend these apartments for someone staying in Galway for a couple of nights.

Property was so spacious (2 large bedrooms and a decent sized living/kitchen area) with lovely sea views. Also a very short walk from everything in Salthill.
It was very clean with the basics needed - Toilet roll, towels, pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. Property also had a dishwasher, washing machine and even a tumble dryer. There was also some washing up liquid, enough dishwasher tabs for a load to be done each evening and some cloths. The guy at reception was very helpful, on the afternoon we arrived we noticed a tap wasn’t working and it was replaced the next day.
Property also appears well soundproofed with no noises from neighbouring apartments.
Would definitely stay here again if visiting Salthill.

Great views and fab location. Could be a total gem. Considering the high price!!! Rooms could do with a makeover and lick of paint. Water heater for shower is useless first person get a hot shower and rest are cold. And our room was gruby on arrival it had a bare clean. And considering you check our at 10an and check back in at 3pm it’s ample time for. Cleaning crew to give a deep clean. Cleaning through out the complex appears to be a problem. Carpet outside lift never hovered. Glass doors in reception gruby Definitely needs more attention as covid specify cleaning routine as paramount

We are a family of four and stayed in these apartments for two nights. The cleanliness of the apartment was not up to standard at all. One of the sheets had a blood stain on it!! the windows were filthy and one of the rooms did not feel secure at all! Definitely needs a lot of investment. The couch was filthy! we paid 400 euro and don’t feel it was worth it at all.we are so disappointed with it because we hadn’t had a break in ages. The hand sanitiser turned our finger nails black?!?! So I don’t know what was in it! there were a lot of doors to open to get up to our apartment which isn’t ideal with COVID 19. No dish washer tablets available for use either which was annoying because there was a smell off the cutlery. We feel we deserve a refund as our apartment was not of merchantable quality.

We booked these apartments to visit Galway during the St Patrick's day festivities. They were really reasonably priced and we weren't expecting too much, we just needed a bed for the night.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment. When we entered you could smell it had been really thoroughly cleaned. The apartment was spotless. One bedroom had an ensuite which we didn't realise when we booked, then a main bathroom in the hallway so this was great for 4 of us sharing one apartment. Plenty of comfy seating in the lounge area looking straight out onto the seafront. Lovely little balcony with seating. The kitchenette we didn't really use but did notice it was fully equipt to use as a self catering apartment. There was a fancy coffee machine which 2 of the guests loved.
Area itself was good, plenty of pubs, restaurants and a few adult amusements around that do bingo. Bus stop right outside the front too take you straight into the centre of Galway, ran on time, on Sundays, bank holiday from early morning until late night (less than 2 euros each way) . It's around 40 minutes to walk but you can follow the seafront along so it makes for a nice walk if you fancy it. Check in and out was really simple. Also worth noting in terms of location, you can get a bus from Shannon Airport straight into Galway then the local bus to the apartment. Airport bus was around 12 euros each way so great value. Would advise too prebook as it was full both on our arrival and return.
If we ever visit Galway again, we wouldn't hesitate to book here.

Spent a few days in Galway over the summer with a 4 and 2 year old. The location of the apartments couldn't have been more perfect being right on the promenade so on days we went to the beach etc it was great being able to bring the girls straight back to the apartment in a couple of minutes to wash off sand etc.
The apartments themselves had everything you would need. The bedroom facing the promenade is obviously a little bit noisy however we put the girls in the other room which was lovely and quiet. Apartments were sparkling clean and the girls adored the view of looking out on the sea and seeing all the people walking dogs and getting buses etc. Self check in was convenient and parking available onsite also.
I know some people mentioned about the hot water etc and maybe it's from the feedback but the instructions about boosting the hot water etc was very clear and we had no issue there.
Already contemplating heading back next year!

+1
I stayed six weeks at the Galway Bay Seaview apartments. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. They responded to emails promptly working with me on changes due to Covid. Since I would be working part of the time they made sure I was connected WiFi with no issues. The apartments though not new were comfortable and clean. I traveled alone and felt totally safe with the security and lighting in the building. The views from the upper floors were spectacular. Salthill Promenade was right outside the door as was the city bus. On good days I walked into Galway city center exploring various routes. Depending on how much I explored the walk was less than a half hour. Cabs from the pubs in Galway to the apartments was less than 10 euros. Their were great shops, pubs and restaurants just steps outside the door. I just rebooked with them for 3 months next year. They worked a great rate for to help me stay in budget. Can’t wait to go back.

Dear ClaireB5426, Thank you for your honest and well-laid-out feedback it is very valuable to us. We will be happy to explain the issues you have raised. 1. We have a water immersion system in place, that heats up the water during the night, it also allows you to use the "boost" option to reheat the water if you used it during the day to ensure you have hot water for evening showers. All this is outlined in our guest information folder available in each apartment. 2. That is correct, we provide guests with enough product/items such as toilet paper, washing up liquid and tablets, sponge, jay cloth etc. to get them going until they can reach the local shop for extra supplies. Items such as dishwasher tabs, bin bags and toilet rolls can be requested with our staff over the phone. We do not provide multi-use items such as foil or film as a safety measure during COVID-19. Cleaning products are not provided due to H&S risks associated with chemicals. 3. Our check-out time is 10.30 am, not 11 am, hence why our housekeeping knocked on the door. 4. We are located right in the heart of Salthill, unfortunately, this comes with some noise. 5. We are sorry but there is not much we can do in relation to the thickness of the walls, but we rarely get complaints in relation to noise from neighbouring apartments. Thank you so much for all of the positive comments, we will ensure to pass them on to the rest of our team. We hope to have you as our guest again in the nearest future.

I spent three very pleasant nights at the Galway Bay Sea View Apartments. As this was my first time staying in a "holiday" apartment, I wasn't sure what to expect so was pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very basic but quite clean and comfortable with a small kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath and, what I thought was a big plus, a washer/dryer. Also, there was a little balcony overlooking the Salthill Promenade which was a nice place to relax after having spent several days sight seeing around the country. The location is also quite good. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. I will definitely stay here again.

All apartments are equipped with under counter fridge that has a small freezer in it.
Yes, all apartments have a sea-facing balcony.
Dear "sunshine5996",
Thank you for booking with us.
We do not have apartments that are fully equipped for wheelchair access, however, they are suitable for wheelchairs. We offer a portable ramp to access the building at the front door, there is only small step between lifts and the corridor.
We have had guests in a wheelchair staying at our apartments before and they found it pretty comfortable to get around, as log as they have a bit of assistance at the doors.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Kind Regards
Karina Rozenberga
