On arrival, we were greeted by a friendly but quite stern lady who started by asking whether we wanted a cooked breakfast or continental. When my daughter told her she was vegetarian, the. Landlady told her off. She then asked for payment for our two night stay. As we walked to our room up some very creeky stairs, I noted... More

Having read previous reviews, I was wary about visiting, but decided to go for it anyway. I travelled down from Dublin Airport with no internet access to use maps - and found it easily enough! Firstly, I was welcomed by a lovely girl, who explained how the B&B works. She directed me to parking and asked if I would like... More

The plus - the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The location is very handy for Dun Laoghaire and there is parking. But The decor is dated which is fine but it looks like some child has been practicing tiling, laying linoleum.... A paint job would not go amiss. The bed was ok (it would not earn comfortable)... As I stated above, not quite what I had expected. This property is a converted townhouse/apartment that is pretty small with a need for a makeover. Let me start by saying the staff seemed to be Russian and indeed one of them was Romanian. There was a little bit of a language problem and there were no real pleasantries exchanged.... More

I stayed 3 nights to visit Ireland and to greet my aunt. Bed was comfy and breakfast was lovely (irish and continental breakfast). I think the continental breakfasts missing something, like meats, cheeses, cakes and pastries. Wi-Fi free. The b&b was easy to find. Location is very good, within walking distance of Dart station and Dun Laoghaire town centre. I... More

The only good thing to say about this place is that the bed was clean, nice sheets and I had a good nights sleep. On arrival we had to pay for our room before we got to see it. Very unfriendly welcome, and lack of English was a real problem. No hospitality feeling about the place. Decor needs a complete... More

The hostess was very pleasant and the room warm and clean. Stayed 1 night, was probably in the room for less than 6 hours altogether. Breakfast wasnt great and be careful with parking, its very tight around the back of the property and i lightly scratched my car.

Stayed here for 2 weeks as was doing a Pain Management Programme. The staff was very nice despite a bit of language barrier. For 50€ a night for one person was not bad that included breakfast. Only downside was that it was sometimes noisy in the morning and the heating came on at odd times so it was a bit... More
